TES holds Simultaneous Flag-Raising Ceremony honoring the 10th Anniversary of the 2016 South China Sea Arbitral Award
Tabangao, Batangas City— In solidarity with schools across the country, Tabangao Elementary School (TES) successfully conducted the Simultaneous Flag-Raising Ceremony on Monday, July 6, 2026, in observance of the 10th Anniversary of the 2016 South China Sea Arbitral Award.
The activity was held in compliance with the Department of Education's directive encouraging all public schools to commemorate the milestone through meaningful civic and patriotic activities.
The ceremony gathered school officials, teachers, staff, and learners in the school grounds for the traditional flag-raising rites, followed by a short program emphasizing patriotism, national unity, and respect for international law. Learners actively participated in the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, recitation of the Panatang Makabayan, and other patriotic exercises, reflecting their pride and love for the country.
A special message highlighting the significance of the 2016 South China Sea Arbitral Award was delivered during the program, reminding the school community of the importance of upholding the rule of law, protecting the nation's sovereign rights, and fostering responsible citizenship among the youth.
