Board of Review – July 25 (Saturday)

On Saturday, July 25, the Board of Review for the Explorer, Pathfinder, and Outdoor Scout ranks was held at the TSIS Gymnasium.

The program began with the Entrance of Colors followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, "Lupang Hinirang." This was immediately followed by the opening prayer led by Sct. Salazar, Princess Vienne Afterwards, Sct. Gayeta, Emmaniel led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Philippine Flag, while Sct. Panaligan, Princess Margaret led the recitation of the Scout Law and the Scout Oath. Then Sct. Credo, Sammantha Norraine recited the Scout Code, and the ceremony concluded with Sct. Bagsit, Allayza Dianne leading the recitation of the Scout Mission and Vision.

Following the opening ceremony and the recitations, the distinguished guests and members of the Board of Review were introduced and recognized. Among them were Sir Mark Jazper Soriano. WHB together with Sir Marco Buela an Outfit Advisor of the school. They were joined by Sir Gilbert Bañez from another school, who served as one of the panelists for the Board of Review. Also recognized were the school's Institutional Head, Dr. Julius Arguelles the School Principal, and ES. Mc Ernest Doce, Senior Crew leader (SCL).

The Board of Review was conducted to assess the Scouts' knowledge, skills, and readiness for the ranks they were applying for in the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP). A total of 13 Scouts underwent the Board of Review, including 11 Explorer Scouts and 2 Outdoor Scouts.

May these Scouts successfully achieve the ranks they aspire to earn. More importantly, may they continue to live by the Scout Law and Scout Oath in their daily lives. May they become role models—Scouts with open minds, compassionate hearts, and a genuine commitment to serving others.

Continue doing your best to help build a better nation for the generations to come. May you become responsible citizens and a voice for positive change. Be a source of strength and support to your school, your community, and your country. Keep practicing good values, strive to improve yourselves every day, and always reflect on the words you speak and the actions you take.

Thursday, July 23

the 57th Batangas City Foundation Day was celebrated. Many participants joined the parade, including the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) and various other organizations from Batangas City.

The event was not only about participating in the celebration but also about demonstrating respect, unity, and cooperation within the community. It served as a reminder of the importance of showing courtesy, strengthening camaraderie, and fostering a spirit of service and togetherness among all participants.

July 24 (Friday)

After the Philippine flag retreat ceremony, several Scouts stayed behind to learn more and deepen their knowledge of Scouting.

The formation was led by Eagle Scouts and officers, who guided the participants by instilling proper Scout values and teaching basic drills to the new Scouts.

Meanwhile, other members of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) were undergoing a pre-board assessment to prepare themselves for the Board of Review scheduled for Saturday, July 25.

Friday, July 24, the first flag retreat ceremony was held at the new flagpole (field). The ceremony was led by members of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) and the Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP). For every Scout, it is a long-standing tradition to hold a flag retreat ceremony every Friday.

During the ceremony, each Scout demonstrated respect and honor for the Philippine flag. They showed this through their proper formation, disciplined conduct, and heartfelt singing of the national anthem as the flag was respectfully lowered.

Let’s all stand tall, salute with pride, and honor what our flag stands for.

The Tinga Sorosoro Integrated School (TSIS) warmly welcomed Dr. Nieves A. Montalbo the newly appointed District VI Supervisor. According to her, Tinga Sorosoro Integrates School was the first school she visited after assuming her new position. Her visit aimed to revisit the school and observe the improvements and developments that have been made.

July 20, 2026

Yesterday (Monday), the first flag ceremony was held on the school field, where a new flagpole had been installed to provide a more spacious venue and avoid overcrowding in the gymnasium. The flag-raising ceremony was led by the school personnel and was followed by presentations from various school organizations, including the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP), and the Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP).

July 17, 2026 (Friday)

The BSP officers conducted an orientation for the new scouts who aspire to become role models in the school. The orientation was led by Sct. Credo, Sammantha Norraine, Sct. Gayeta, Emmanuel, Sct. Aquino, Cassandra, Es. Villianueva, Lovely Joy, Es. Arangilan, King Angelous and Es. Ricablanca, Rein Oscar It was organized to serve as the first step for new scouts who wish to become part of the organization and contribute to the positive development of the school.

The officers not only taught the principles and values of scouting but also demonstrated them through their actions. They reminded the new scouts to always uphold good character, discipline, and proper behavior as members of the Scout movement.
