"ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON AUGUST 20

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 131, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 20, 2026:

📍 National Capital Region (NCR)
📍 Abra
📍 Benguet
📍 Ilocos Norte
📍 Ilocos Sur
📍 La Union
📍 Pangasinan
📍 Bataan
📍 Bulacan
📍 Nueva Ecija
📍 Pampanga
📍 Tarlac
📍 Zambales
📍 Batangas
📍 Cavite
📍 Laguna
📍 Rizal
📍 Occidental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes and learning continuity measures at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers placed under alternative work arrangements shall be paid their corresponding wages or salaries, subject to applicable rules and regulations.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management."

Due to the recent flooding and inclement weather brought about by Typhoon Maymay, Batangas City Integrated High School will shift to Modular Distance Learning(MDL) tomorrow, August 10, 2026.

All learners are adviced to coordinate with their teachers regarding the distribution of modules, learning activities, and submission of outputs. Likewise, teachers are requested to report to school to clear the messs brought about by Typhoon.

Please remain safe, monitor official announcements, and take the necessary precautions.

‎Life is not always easy, and many worthwhile accomplishments come only after facing difficulties and waiting patiently. This verse reminds us that although the beginning of a journey may be challenging, the lessons we learn and the results we achieve in the end are often far more valuable.

‎Rather than becoming impatient or relying on our own pride, we are encouraged to remain humble and trust God's timing. Patience helps us grow in character, while humility allows us to accept that not everything happens according to our own plans.

‎This Bible verse teaches us that success is not only about reaching the finish line but also about developing patience and humility along the way. When we trust God's timing and continue to persevere, we will see that every challenge has a purpose.
