Revisiting LPU-Batangas Arboretum

As part of the foundation activities of LPU-Batangas, council members, along with the Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Conrado I. Dotong, participated in the planting of endemic trees in the LPU Arboretum.

Isang makabuluhang paggunita sa Buwan ng Wika!
Sa patuloy na paglawig ng kaalaman ng bawat isa sa wika, mas nadaragdagan ang ating kaalaman sa kung gaano ito kabuhay, at buhay. Ang mga katutubong wika, bilang dagdag, ang siyang naging pundasyon ng kung ano ang mayroon sa kasalukuyan, kaya nararapat na linangin upang maipakilala natin sa hinaharap.
Samakatuwid, mahihinuha na sa tulong nito ay mas nabibigyang-pagkakataon ang bawat isa upang mas mapahalagahan ang pagiging Pilipino sapagkat ang wika ay nakalilok na sa ating pagkakakilanlan bilang isang indibidwal, at bilang bansang nagkakaisa.
Ating tuklasin, at lubos na pagyamanin ang Filipino at ang mga Katutubong Wika upang tayong lahat ay makalikha ng mas matatag, at mas nagkakabuklod na bansang Pilipinas sa isip, salita, at sa gawa.

Today marks an important event in Philippine history as we commemorate August 21 as Ninoy Aquino Day. Signed in 2004 by virtue of RA 9256, this day forever memorializes the life and legacy of a beloved hero.
May this be a reminder to never cease hope in fighting for freedom and democracy.
