In line with our commitment to disaster preparedness and safety, Banabawenians (all learners, teachers, and personnel) are encouraged to participate in the 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill on June 18, 2026, at exactly 9:00 AM.

The quarterly NSED is a continuing nationwide initiative designed to:
Improve public awareness and preparedness
Promote safety practices such as “Duck, Cover, and Hold”
Enhance the government’s response capability to major disasters

And aims to strengthen preparedness, safety awareness, and remind everyone to take a proper action during disaster
Remember the basic safety measures:

The New Tigers Blessed Movement Batangas, represented by Ma’am Edna Acuña and Ma’am Genia Clarete, extended their support to Banaba West Elementary School through the donation of materials for Brigada Eskwela 2026.

This gesture reflects their genuine concern for education and their continued support for school-based initiatives that promote volunteerism and community involvement. Through their shared commitment to education and community service, Batangueño ng Saudi Arabia (BANSA) and the Batangas Saudi 101 Lions Club extended their support to Banaba West Elementary School by donating cleaning materials for Brigada Eskwela 2026. Their contribution helped ensure that classrooms and school facilities are clean, safe, and fully prepared for the opening of classes.

This act of generosity reflects their continued support for the school and their dedication to helping create a better learning environment for learners. For this, we are truly grateful.

Banaba West Elementary School officially opened School Year 2026-2027 on June 8, 2026, through its first flag ceremony attended by learners, teachers, parents, and stakeholders.

During the ceremony, Sir Filomeno D. Madlangbayan, Principal of Banaba West Elementary School, warmly welcomed everyone and explained the purpose of the Opening Block, the initial phase of the Three-Term School Calendar. He emphasized that this period is dedicated to orienting learners on school policies, classroom routines, learning expectations, and essential activities that will help them smoothly adjust to the new school year.

Sir Madlangbayan encouraged all learners to embrace learning with enthusiasm, responsibility, and determination as they begin another chapter of their educational journey.

As we embark on this new school year, may we continue to work together in providing a safe, supportive, and learner-centered environment where every child can thrive and succeed.
