In view of the inclement weather brought about by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), face-to-face classes at Tinga Sorosoro Integrated School are suspended on Tuesday, August 18, 2026.

📚 Classes will shift to HINAY Mode of Learning to ensure the safety and well-being of our learners, teaching personnel, and school community.

This suspension is in accordance with the recommendation of the Batangas City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) and the DepEd Schools Division Office of Batangas City.

PAKIKIISA SA 2026 NATIONAL HISTORY MONTH

“Hinubog ng Bayan, Dinuyan ng Alon”

Nakikiisa ang Tinga Sorosoro Integrated School sa paggunita at pagdiriwang ng 2026 National History Month ngayong buwan ng Agosto.

Ang kasaysayan ng isang bayan ay hindi lamang nakasulat sa mga aklat. Ito ay buhay sa mga alaala ng ating mga ninuno, sa kulturang patuloy nating pinagyayaman, sa mga tradisyong ipinapasa sa bawat salinlahi, at sa mga karanasang humubog sa ating pagkakakilanlan bilang mga Pilipino.

Sa diwa ng temang “Hinubog ng Bayan, Dinuyan ng Alon,” ating kinikilala ang malalim na ugnayan ng sambayanan, kultura, karanasan, at karagatan sa paghubog ng ating kasaysayan. Ang bawat alon ay tila pahina ng nakaraan—may dalang kuwento ng pakikipagsapalaran, pakikibaka, katatagan, at pag-asa ng ating mga ninuno.

Bilang isang paaralan, patuloy nating hinuhubog ang mga mag-aaral na hindi lamang marunong sa kasaysayan, kundi may kamalayan sa kanilang pinagmulan, pagmamalaki sa kanilang kultura, at pananagutan sa kinabukasan ng bayan.

📢 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT | ASYNCHRONOUS CLASSES

Due to the recent heavy rains brought by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and the potential risks brought by the earthquake that occurred last Friday, Tinga Sorosoro Integrated School (TSIS), in proper coordination with the Schools Division Office of Batangas City, will conduct asynchronous classes tomorrow, August 10, 2026 (Monday) for all learners from Grade 7 to Grade 12.

This arrangement will give the school administration enough time to check and assess the safety of the school buildings, classrooms, pathways, and other school facilities before regular face-to-face classes resume.

📚 What should learners do tomorrow?

Teachers will provide learning activities and tasks through the usual communication channels.
Learners are expected to check their teachers' messages and complete the assigned activities.
Teachers will monitor learners' participation and progress during the day.
Learners are advised to stay at home and avoid unnecessary travel, especially if the weather and road conditions are still unsafe.

👨‍👩‍👧 For Parents and Guardians:
Please continue to guide and monitor your children while they accomplish their learning activities at home. Their safety and well-being remain our top priority.

The school will continue to assess the situation and provide updates regarding the conduct of regular face-to-face classes.
