HKES celebrates pride month through learner welfare orientations

Haligue Kanluran Elementary School joins the nationwide celebration of Pride Month through a meaningful and colorful school-wide activity that promotes inclusivity, respect, diversity, and learner welfare among members of the school community.
As part of the celebration, learners, teachers, and non-teaching personnel proudly wear colorful attire to symbolize solidarity and support for diversity and equality. The vibrant display of colors creates an atmosphere of unity and acceptance, highlighting the school’s commitment to fostering a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all learners regardless of their backgrounds, beliefs, and individual differences.
The activity serves not only as a celebration of Pride Month but also as an opportunity to strengthen awareness on various school programs and advocacies that contribute to the holistic development and well-being of learners. Through a series of informative orientations and discussions, participants gain valuable knowledge on health, safety, mental wellness, disaster preparedness, and child protection.

SDO Batangas City Health Team conducts school health assessment at HKES

In line with the Department of Education’s commitment to promoting learners’ health and well-being, a team of health supervisors from the Schools Division Office (SDO) of Batangas City, headed by Dra. Belinda D. Sabellano and accompanied by four nurses, conducts a comprehensive health assessment among learners at Haligue Kanluran Elementary School on June 10.

As schools nationwide commence School Year 2026–2027 through the implementation of the Opening Block, Education Program Supervisor (EPS) in Araling Panlipunan Dr. Ricky Realingo conducts a monitoring visit at DepEd Tayo Haligue Kanluran ES - Batangas City on June 9 to assess the readiness of learners, teachers, and the school community during the crucial opening phase of the academic year.

Sa pagdiriwang ng ika-128 anibersaryo ng Proklamasyon ng Kalayaan ng Pilipinas, kaisa ang Kagawaran ng Edukasyon sa pagpupugay sa katapangan at sakripisyo ng ating mga bayani na nagbukas ng landas tungo sa ating kasarinlan.

Nawa’y magsilbing inspirasyon ang kanilang pamana upang patuloy nating mahalin ang bayan, pahalagahan ang kalayaan, at magkaisa para sa mas maunlad na kinabukasan ng bansa.

Haligue Kanluran Elementary School successfully conducts the Brigada Eskwela 2026 Closing Ceremony on June 5, formally concluding the week-long school maintenance and preparation activities and celebrating the collective efforts of teachers, parents, community members, partners, donors, and stakeholders in ensuring the school's readiness for the opening of classes.

ARAL Program Culminating Activity

Haligue Kanluran Elementary School successfully conducts its ARAL (Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning) Program Culminating Activity on June 3, 2026, marking the formal completion of the intervention program designed to strengthen learners’ foundational skills in literacy and numeracy.

The entire Haligue Kanluran Elementary School family extends its deepest gratitude to all our Brigada Eskwela Heroes who generously shared their time, effort, skills, and resources to help prepare our school for the opening of classes.

To our dedicated parents, volunteers, barangay officials, SK leaders, partner stakeholders, alumni, teachers, learners, and community members—thank you for your unwavering support and commitment. Your willingness to lend a helping hand reflects the true spirit of bayanihan and your genuine concern for the welfare of our learners.
