A spirit of excellence, collaboration, and pride filled the DINHS campus as the school welcomed the distinguished validators for the Level 2 Gawad Balisong Best Performing Secondary School on October 8, 2026.
Leading the validation team were Dr. Mario B. Maramot (SGOD Chief), Engr. John Albert L. Tiquis (Engineer III), Ma'am Remelyn M. Manumbale (Administrative Officer IV), who assessed the school’s programs, projects, practices, accomplishments, and supporting documents. They visited different areas of the school, reviewed evidence and project outputs, observed school practices, and engaged with those involved in program implementation.
The validation gave DINHS an opportunity to showcase its accomplishments and the initiatives behind them, highlighting the school’s commitment to continuous improvement and quality service to its learners.
At the forefront of the school’s efforts was Dr. Doris M. Robledo (Principal II) together with the Head teachers, Master teachers, teachers, and school personnel, whose leadership and dedication continue to strengthen the school’s programs and services for learners.
The school’s efforts were further supported by Dr. Erickson T. Gutierrez, (PSDS), the School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA), led by Ms. Hazel Famarin with Ms. Ella Mae Parone, SPTA BOD Member, along with them is Mr. Gerado Malaluan, School Governing Council (SGC) officer and the designated Education Committee Barangay Councilor. Their continued partnership reflects the strong support of parents and community stakeholders in advancing the school’s initiatives.
Behind every accomplishment presented during the validation were the teachers who served as project proponents. Their time, creativity, expertise, and dedication brought the school’s programs to life, while their efforts in planning, implementing, and documenting these initiatives became an essential part of DINHS’s continuing success.
More than an assessment, today’s validation highlighted the people and programs that continue to move DINHS forward. Every project, accomplishment, and initiative reflects the commitment of a school community working toward a common goal.
With the support of its school leaders, teachers, personnel, SPTA, SGC, parents, barangay partners, and stakeholders, DINHS continues to pursue excellence in service of every learner.
