As the day came to a close, our Scouts gathered around the campfire not only to share performances, laughter, and stories, but also to celebrate friendship, unity, memories, and the values that bring us together.

The campfire reminded us that the greatest light a Scout can carry is not simply the flame of the fire, but the light of kindness, courage, service, and leadership that burns brightly in the heart.

Our Scouts put their strength, agility, courage, and determination to the test as they conquered every obstacle with grit and perseverance. Each challenge reminded them that obstacles are not meant to stop us—they are opportunities to become stronger, braver, and better.

We officially kicked off our 2026 School-Based Scouting & Leadership Training on September 3, 2026, with a meaningful opening ceremony that inspired our Scouts to embrace the values of leadership, responsibility, teamwork, discipline, and service.

🪢 𝘒𝘕𝘖𝘛 𝘛𝘠𝘐𝘕𝘎 & 𝘚𝘊𝘖𝘜𝘛𝘐𝘕𝘎 𝘞𝘏𝘐𝘚𝘛𝘓𝘌 𝘚𝘐𝘎𝘕𝘈𝘓𝘚
Learn by doing! Our Scouts took on hands-on challenges as they practiced essential scouting knots and whistle signals. These activities developed patience, accuracy, coordination, focus, and confidence that are important skills that every Scout can carry beyond the training ground.

Learning is even better when there is fun!
Through traditional Filipino games, our Scouts strengthened teamwork, camaraderie, sportsmanship, cooperation, and unity while enjoying laughter, friendly competition, and unforgettable moments together.

Ngayong araw, nagbibigay-pugay ang Kagawaran ng Edukasyon sa lahat ng bayaning Pilipino mula sa mga nag-alay ng kanilang buhay para sa ating kalayaan hanggang sa mga patuloy na naglilingkod nang buong puso para sa bansa.

Kasabay ng pagdiriwang, kinikilala rin natin ang magigiting na bayani ng iba’t ibang sektor, kabilang ang ating mga g**o at kawani na katuwang natin sa pagsig**o ng maayos na kalidad ng edukasyon para sa mga Pilipinong mag-aaral.

As part of its commitment to fostering excellence in communication and media literacy, Lalab National High School, through its official school publication The Ridge, will conduct the 2026 School-Based Journalism Training and Workshop on August 21, 2026, at 7:30 A.M.

Carrying the theme, “𝙄𝙣𝙠 𝙤𝙛 𝙏𝙧𝙪𝙩𝙝, 𝙑𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝: 𝙀𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙅𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙄𝙣𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙚𝙙 𝙁𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚.” The activity aims to develop students' journalistic skills while promoting ethical and responsible reporting.

In celebration of National Nutrition Month 2026, Lalab National High School actively participated in promoting nutrition awareness through various classroom-based activities integrated across different learning areas.

Anchored on this year's theme, “𝙎𝙖 𝙋𝙋𝘼𝙉, 𝙎𝙖𝙢𝙖-𝙎𝙖𝙢𝙖 𝙨𝙖 𝙉𝙪𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙩 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙖 𝙨𝙖 𝙇𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙩,” the school conducted meaningful and engaging lessons that emphasized the importance of proper nutrition, healthy lifestyles, and collective responsibility in achieving a well-nourished community.

Learners took part in subject-integrated activities such as discussions, creative writing, interactive activity, poster-making & slogan making, mathematical problem-solving, and practical applications related to nutrition and health. These activities provided students with valuable opportunities to connect nutrition concepts with their academic subjects while developing habits that contribute to their overall well-being.
