December 1st is a day to remember those lost, celebrate the progress made in prevention and treatment, and recognize the ongoing challenges. This year emphasizes the crucial role of communities in shaping the response to HIV/AIDS—from delivering services and advocating for human rights, to fighting the harmful stigma that remains a primary barrier to testing and care.
