Honoring Indigenous Peoples, Culture, and Knowledge!
Today, we celebrate the This day recognizes the rich cultures, traditions, knowledge, and contributions of Indigenous Peoples, as well as their rights and connection to their ancestral lands and natural resources. Indigenous knowledge also plays an important role in caring for biodiversity and the environment.
Let us continue to listen to Indigenous voices, respect their rights, protect their cultural heritage, and value the knowledge passed down through generations. As we work toward a sustainable future, may we remember that caring for the environment also means respecting the people and communities who have long cared for it.
