In celebration of Teachers’ Month this October 2026 and in line with the SSLG-initiated program, the Communication Arts Guild, alongside the Book Lovers Club, conducted “𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐫, 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫: 𝐀 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧” around the campus.

The activity was one of the various initiatives conducted by different clubs as part of the Teachers’ Month celebration. It provided students with a space to anonymously share their appreciation and messages for teachers, educators, and staff through sticky notes posted on designated boards.

The initiative also supported the Communication Arts Guild’s aim of promoting communication and self-expression by giving students an avenue to put their thoughts and appreciation into words.

Our banners are up, the crowd is cheering, and the spirit of sportsmanship is everywhere! ICA PALARO isn’t just games where we score points, this is where we get out of our comfort zones, support our teammate, and show what it truly means to be as an athlete and as an ICAdemian.

Whether you’re playing or cheering, we remind each other that winning is great but unity and teamwork is better. Even when we’re on the opposite teams, we still cheer and clap for good plays as we still respect the game and still celebrate each other.

So heads up, bring your energy, and let’s make ICA PALARO 2026 a celebration of skill, talent, sportsmanship, and teamwork!

𝑰𝑪𝑨𝒅𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒔! 𝘼𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙮 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙪𝙥𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙚𝙭𝙖𝙢𝙨?
August 28 and 29 are just around the corner. That means hours of reviewing, rewriting notes, last-minute cramming and lots of praying for the best results!

But whether you’re prepared or panicking, remember that you’re not alone. Academics are important, but so is taking care of ourselves! Study hard, rest well, and ask for help when you need it!

So as ICAdemians, let’s face our exams with preparation, with compassion, and of course with 𝙏𝙧𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙄𝙣 𝙇𝙤𝙫𝙚!

One who is benevolent genuinely wishes other people well, a meaning reflected clearly in the word's Latin roots: benevolent comes from bene, meaning "good," and velle, meaning "to wish." Other descendants of velle in English include volition, which refers to the power to make one's own choices or decisions, and voluntary, as well as the rare velleity, meaning either "the lowest degree of volition" or "a slight wish or tendency." A more familiar velle descendant stands directly opposed to benevolent: malevolent describes someone or something having or showing a desire to cause harm to another person.

𝘿𝙞𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬?

Evanescent didn't appear in the English language out of thin air; it comes from a form of the Latin verb evanescere, which means "to fade away" or "to disappear." (Evanescere is also the ultimate source of vanish.) Given the similarity in spelling and meaning between the two words, might expect evaporate to trace back to evanescere as well, but its source is another steamy Latin root, evaporare. While today evanescent is used to describe things that last only a short time, the word could formerly also describe the incalculably small. That use is now archaic, meaning it has almost blown away on the breeze.

Today, we celebrate more than just the successful completion of the PEAC E-Recertification 2026 held on August 12, 2026. We celebrate the people behind this achievement, the people who gave their time, effort, patience, and dedication to make it possible.

This accomplishment is a beautiful reminder that great things happen when people come together with one heart, one purpose, and one commitment. Every preparation, every helping hand, every encouraging word, and every sacrifice became part of this meaningful milestone.

To our dear ICA Family, this is a testament to what we can achieve when we stand together, not as individuals, but as one family united by our love and commitment to Immaculate Conception Academy of Batac, Inc.

We may have different roles and responsibilities, but today, we share one victory. This achievement belongs to all of us.

With grateful hearts, we thank everyone who gave their best and stood together throughout this journey. May this accomplishment remind us that when we work with faith, love, and unity, we can overcome challenges and achieve something truly meaningful.
