Maranatha Christian Academy - Batac Chapter successfully conducted an Earthquake Seminar and Earthquake Drill in partnership with the City of Batac Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP). The activity was participated in by the school’s teachers, staff, and students as part of its continuing commitment to ensuring a safe and prepared learning environment.

The seminar provided essential information on earthquake preparedness, while the drill allowed participants to apply proper emergency response procedures in a realistic setting. Through this activity, the school community gained valuable knowledge and practical skills that can help protect lives during emergencies.

Maranatha Christian Academy extends its heartfelt gratitude to the City of Batac BFP for their time, expertise, and dedication in promoting disaster awareness and preparedness. Such collaborative efforts reinforce the importance of safety, resilience, and readiness among all members of the school community.

In line with this year’s national theme, “Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan!”

Maranatha Christian Academy of Batac successfully celebrated Nutrition Month 2026 with a series of meaningful activities that promoted proper nutrition, environmental awareness, creativity, and active participation among our learners.
Pupils across all departments engaged in various dynamic events during the Nutrition Month Culmination Program.

Pre-School Department
The Nursery 2 and Kindergarten pupils proudly showcased creative headdresses made from recyclable materials in their classrooms demonstrating both artistic flair and an early appreciation for environmental sustainability.

Lower Grade Department (Grades 1–3)
Our Grades 1 to 3 pupils tested their knowledge in the Final Quiz Bee, demonstrating an impressive understanding of health, nutrition, and environmental care.

Middle Grade Department (Grades 4–6)
Our Grades 4 to 6 pupils showcased their culinary talents in the Cooking Contest, featuring squash as the star ingredient:
Grade 4 prepared healthy, unique, and delicious squash steamed muffins.
Grade 5 created savory and nutritious squash patties.
Grade 6 cooked ginisang kalabasa with sauteed meat, a wholesome and flavorful dish.

This celebration underscored the vital link between proper nutrition and environmental responsibility while fostering teamwork and healthy living across all grade levels.

Huge congratulations to Sean Ahyan "Sef" Acob and Brylle Edry Pungtilan for their incredible performance at the Smart/MVP Sports Foundation Regional Interschool Taekwondo Championship, held at the Abra Gymnasium yesterday, July 18, 2026! 🥋🔥

🥇 Sean Ahyan Sef dominated his matches and proudly brought home the GOLD MEDAL in the Kyorugi division!

👊 Brylle showed immense grit, discipline, and put up an absolute warrior of a fight, proving what true sportsmanship is all about!
