THE SOUND OF MUSIC HAS COME ALIVE AS WITS AND FLAIR PARADE THROUGH THE HALLS OF TALENT

Perennially, The Junior People Management Association of the Philippines (JPMAP - MMSU) has been consistent in giving its members the spotlight to shine their personal abilities while also contributing to the organization with an artistic color to its various events.

Headed by the Fellowship, Wellness, and Sports Committee (FWS), JPMAP - MMSU kicked off its first of many audition of talents under the flag of HRmonious and with the theme “SINAG: Student Initiatives Nurturing Artistic Growth” - where it enhances creative and artistic talents among JPMAP’ers whilst immersing them into producing entertainment for organizational events and functions.

In its first act, participants ignited their flame through vocals and instruments in reverence to Teachers’ Day celebration - performing drums, guitars, and even their own voices in celebration of the sacrifice of educators, bringing in the atmosphere that talents can shine while inclusivity and respect are present.

The event highlighted that even though it is still in its first of many seasons, it has proven that by its guiding hand on providing a space for JPMAP’ers to shine - it will eventually deliver curated groups and individuals on creating quality entertainment for the organization while setting a platform for their talent to illuminate.

Through the Plenary Session, “𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐝𝐈𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲: 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧”, our guest speaker, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐃𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐒. 𝐘𝐚𝐩𝐨, 𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐀, shared valuable insights on how LinkedIn can become more than just a digital resume, but it can also be a platform to showcase one’s strengths, values, competencies, experiences, and unique qualities as a future HR professional. Her discussion encouraged participants to recognize their potential and take intentional steps toward building a professional identity that stands out.

A Certified Human Resource Associate (CHRA) and Cum Laude graduate of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, major in Human Resource Management, from Mariano Marcos State University, Ms. Yapo has built her professional foundation through both academic preparation and hands-on industry experience. Her journey at Concentrix began with an internship at the same company where she would later establish her career, landing her first job less than a month after graduation.

She went on to serve as a Talent Sourcing – Recruiter I at Concentrix, gaining experience in talent acquisition, candidate pre-screening, employee referral program management, recruitment operations, and business partner engagement. Her journey is a reminder that the experiences we gain, the skills we develop, and the professional identity we cultivate can become valuable assets as we take our first steps into the world of work.

The spirit of bayanihan took center stage as JPMAP-MMSU members came together for 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐃𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐬-𝐃𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐬: 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐬, 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭, reinforcing the idea that environmental responsibility becomes more meaningful when carried out collectively.

Armed with teamwork, initiative, and a shared sense of responsibility, JPMAPers took part in efforts that turned the organization’s advocacy for sustainability into something tangible. From working together to maintain cleaner spaces to lending a helping hand throughout the activity, every contribution became part of a bigger effort toward a healthier and more secure learning environment.
