“𝓟𝓻𝓮𝓹𝓪𝓻𝓮𝓭, 𝓪𝓵𝓮𝓻𝓽, 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓾𝓷𝓲𝓽𝓮𝓭—𝔀𝓮 𝓹𝓻𝓸𝓽𝓮𝓬𝓽 𝔀𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝓶𝓪𝓽𝓽𝓮𝓻𝓼 𝓶𝓸𝓼𝓽.”

At 9:00 AM today, September 29, 2026, Baoa East Elementary School conducted the School Safety Drill for Active Attack Incident to strengthen the preparedness, awareness, and response capabilities of our school community.

The activity was spearheaded by our DRRM Coordinator, Mrs. Shana Rylle Mae P. Rivera, with the assistance of Mrs. Marize V. Quitoriano, under the guidance of our School Head, Mr. Regie P. Lizardo.

The drill was actively participated in by our teachers, learners, parents, Barangay Tanods, and Barangay Officials, highlighting the importance of strong school-community collaboration in times of emergency.

While we sincerely hope that such an incident will never happen in our school, preparedness remains essential. Through this activity, we strengthened our collective awareness, practiced appropriate safety responses, and reinforced the importance of staying calm, alert, and coordinated during emergencies.

𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴. 𝘚𝘢𝘧𝘦𝘵𝘺 𝘣𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘰.

During the 1st General PTA Meeting of Baoa East Elementary School, Mrs. Marize V. Quitoriano and Mrs. Liza Lynda B. Tagudin led an important orientation on Active Attack Preparedness and Response, equipping parents and teachers with proper actions and safety protocols should such an incident ever occur.

With the increasingly alarming reports of school shootings and attacks in educational settings, strengthening our preparedness and response capabilities has become an important part of building a safer school community.

While we sincerely hope we will never have to face such a situation, being prepared can make a difference.

𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐓-𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏 𝐈𝐍 𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 | 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐓𝐀 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 & 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

A meaningful afternoon of partnership, communication, and shared commitment unfolded at Baoa East Elementary School during the 1st General PTA Meeting for SY 2026–2027 and Card Day, held on September 18, 2026, at the Baoa East Covered Court.

The meeting, headed by our Master Teacher II and Officer-in-Charge, Mr. Regie P. Lizardo, brought together teachers and parents to discuss important matters concerning our learners and the school community.

Among the highlights of the meeting were the discussion of the new grading system under DepEd Order No. 015, s. 2026, financial statements of school organizations, updates on school programs and activities, the conduct of the Active Schooling Drill, SPTA and school concerns, and the distribution of Report Cards.

More than a meeting, it was a reminder that when parents and teachers work together, our learners are given a stronger foundation to learn, grow, and succeed.

Our sincere gratitude to Aztig SG, headed by Ms. Rosie Sagun for providing the materials needed for the repair and improvement of our school water system, from the water tank to the necessary plumbing materials.

We also deeply appreciate the members who took the time to purchase and personally deliver the materials to our school.

Your generosity, time, and support mean so much to Baoa East Elementary School. Thank you for helping us provide a better and more reliable water system for our learners and school.

3rd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) 2026

Baoa East Elementary School joined the 3rd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED), with our learners, parents, guardians, relatives, and teachers actively participating in the activity.

Despite the learners being on wellness break, learning continues beyond the classroom. This drill served as an avenue to educate and prepare our learners and their families at home on what to do before, during, and after an earthquake.

Through the participation of our parents and family members, our learners were able to practice the Duck, Cover, and Hold procedure together with the people they are with at home—turning a simple drill into a meaningful family learning experience.

Because education does not stop at the school gate. It continues at home, in our communities, and especially in moments when preparedness can save lives.

Preparedness starts with awareness. Safety starts with practice.

𝒯𝓊𝓇𝓃𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝓌𝒶𝓈𝓉𝑒 𝒾𝓃𝓉𝑜 𝓌𝑜𝓇𝒹𝓈, 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝓉𝒶𝓇𝓅𝒶𝓊𝓁𝒾𝓃𝓈 𝒾𝓃𝓉𝑜 𝑜𝓅𝓅𝑜𝓇𝓉𝓊𝓃𝒾𝓉𝒾𝑒𝓈 𝓉𝑜 𝓁𝑒𝒶𝓇𝓃!

Led by 𝗦𝗘𝗟𝗚 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮, our SELG learner-leaders spent a productive day transforming old, no-longer-needed tarpaulins into reading materials for BEES-friend: Building Excellence through Educational Support and Friendly Peer Learning.

This simple yet meaningful initiative reflects our learners’ pagiging 𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗧𝗔𝗢 𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗞𝗔𝗦𝗔𝗡—caring for others while caring for our environment. Truly, they are pag-asa ng bayan, proving that even something bound for the trash can still be turned into something that helps others learn.
