Four (4) pioneering books from the Department of Pharmacy were formally presented during the First MMSU Book Launch last August 22, 2025, at the Center for Flexible Learning.

Excellence and consistency are both necessary in the pathway to success. Engraving excellence in every work that you make and being consistent in what you do well are proven to set your rampage of triumph. Let us all congratulate ten (10) of our colleagues from the three (3) different Departments of the College of Health Sciences as they had their oath-taking ceremony, for being promoted through JC3.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 ǀ 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗢𝗔 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟭𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰

The Department of Nursing has two (2) extension projects, Project Sappuyot ken Salun-at and Project SHIELD. Last February 19, 2024, the faculty and staff of the department participated in the MOA signing for Project SHIELD attended by the University President, Dr. Shirley C. Agrupis, the different Vice Presidents of the University, Directors of the University, LGUs of Paoay and Solsona, and the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology Batac City. This activity ensures access to health and wellness services for the community and disadvantaged Filipinos. It is a great privilege to serve through supporting public health programs and providing health and wellness services to the community.

Also, the Department of Nursing participated in a benchmarking activity with the Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College (ISPSC) in preparation for opening a program for Nursing. MMSU, as one of the best schools for a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in the country, the ISPSC is assured of knowledge and strategies for opening and maintaining a Nursing program amidst the challenging world of the healthcare profession.

Both activities are for the service of the community from developing and training future nurses to providing health and wellness services to people in need. It is indeed a success in a breath.

𝘍𝘪𝘷𝘦 (5) 𝘚𝘊𝘜 𝘗𝘛 𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘦𝘯𝘫𝘰𝘺𝘦𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘪𝘬𝘪, 𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘰𝘯, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘵𝘦 𝘤𝘶𝘦 𝘢𝘴 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘦𝘹𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦

The Department of Physical Therapy hosted a cultural exchange activity for the five (5) PT students together with their faculty, Dr. Daiki Takahashi and Dr. Hiroki Yabe from Seirei Christopher University. The students together with the PT interns of MMSU cooked Filipino snacks such as miki, turon, and camote cue. They extended their enjoyment by playing Filipino games such as bawang base and patintero. The activity fostered unity and friendship across two (2) different cultures. The Department of Physical Therapy looking forward to another cultural exchange activity with SCU Japan.
