CBNHS Poblacion Grade 10 and 9 Students Take PISA 2026

Today, September 24β€”Selected Grade 10 and 9 students of City of Batac National High School Poblacion participated in the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) joining students from different schools in an international assessment of learners knowledge and skills.

A total of 56 selected Grade 10 students including two Grade 9 learners took part in the assessment, which focused on students’ abilities to apply their knowledge and skills in real-life situations.

PISA aims to provide information on how well students are prepared to meet real-world challenges and help education systems identify areas for improvement.

Through their participation, the selected learners represented CBNHS Poblacion in the international assessment, highlighting the school’s involvement in efforts to understand and strengthen student learning outcomes.

CBNHS Poblacion clinched 2nd Place in the Speech Choir Competition during the Marcos 109 Literary & Arts Competition, held on September 12, 2026, at Robinsons Place Ilocos.

The team delivered a strong and unified performance, showcasing their coordination, confidence, and dedication on stage. Their achievement is a testament to how teamwork, determination, and perseverance can make a differenceβ€”even with limited preparation time.
