𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒 | 𝐉𝐂𝐀 𝐱 𝐉𝐏𝐌𝐀𝐏: 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝, 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐍

A celebration of diversity took center stage during 𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐍 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔: “𝐍𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞, 𝐓𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫,” where culture, creativity, and shared experiences came together in one vibrant celebration.

For this year’s ASEAN celebration, the 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 – 𝐌𝐌𝐒𝐔 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 (𝐉𝐂𝐀) 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 (𝐉𝐏𝐌𝐀𝐏) had the opportunity to represent the Kingdom of Thailand and share a glimpse of its rich culture and traditions.

Our Thailand booth became a space where ideas turned into details, creativity turned into presentation, and teamwork turned into something we could proudly share with everyone.

And among the many moments that made the celebration memorable, being named 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 was certainly one to remember. This recognition reflects the effort, imagination, and dedication that went into creating our little piece of Thailand.

We were also grateful to receive recognitions in the other ASEAN-themed competitions, adding even more joy to an already meaningful experience.

Still, what we take home goes beyond the awards. We take with us the memories of creating something together, discovering more about Thai culture, and seeing how diversity can bring people closer rather than set them apart.

In one celebration, we found many ways to appreciate culture, express creativity, and connect with one another.

Thailand was our representation. Diversity was our celebration. ASEAN was our connection.

"𝐄𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐈 𝐁𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞" 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐬 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐈𝐂𝐄𝐈 𝐑𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

A story from our cooperative campus has made its way to the international stage!

Congratulations to 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐚 𝐀𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐚, 𝐉𝐕 𝐀𝐬𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐝𝐨, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐧𝐳𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 for securing 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 in the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐈𝐂𝐄𝐈 𝐑𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, organized by the International Co-operative Alliance-Asia and Pacific.

Under the main theme “Cooperatives Build a Better Tomorrow” and the reels theme “My Campus Cooperative Story,” their entry, “𝐄𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐈 𝐁𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞,” reflects how a cooperative community can become a space where young people find connection, discover their voice, and grow with others.

More than a story of individual growth, the reel captures the heart of cooperation—people supporting one another, listening, taking action, sharing efforts, and celebrating success together. Because when people choose to grow together, they create communities capable of creating meaningful change.

With 𝐌𝐫. 𝐇𝐚𝐝𝐣𝐢𝐞 𝐏. 𝐀𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐥 as their mentor, this achievement celebrates their creativity, teamwork, and dedication in sharing a cooperative campus story with the international community.

Your Junior Cooperators Association – MMSU Chapter is so proud of you!

An oath is more than a formal tradition. It is a declaration of commitment to lead with integrity, serve with purpose, and uphold the values that define the organization. While the ceremony may have lasted only a few moments, the responsibility it represents extends throughout an entire term of service.

Leading this academic year's administration is Jamie Gonzales, a fourth-year Bachelor of Science in Cooperative Management student, together with the newly sworn officers who now carry the responsibility of guiding the organization and serving its members.

The true measure of leadership does not begin and end with the oath itself. It is reflected in the decisions made, the initiatives pursued, and the willingness to place the interests of the organization and its members above personal recognition.

As the newly sworn officers begin their term, the challenge is no longer to make promises but to fulfill them. Leadership is earned through consistency, accountability, and meaningful service. These qualities will ultimately define the legacy of this administration.
