ANNOUNCEMENT:

In the interest of public health and safety and in response to health protocols and prevention measures to control the spread of COVID-19, the Alumni Homeco ming of San Fernando Elementary School of Brgy. San Fernando, Basey, Samar WILL NOT BE CONDUCTED this year considering that there is still a rising number of COVID-19 cases in neighboring towns and cities and due to still on going restrictions/prohibitions being implemented as far as mass gathering, conduct of socio-civic activities, or social gatherings are concerned to avoid or mitigate the risk of transmission of COVID-19.

Anent thereto, as your Alumni President, I encourage you instead to continue observing the minimum public health protocols set by the government and its enforcement agencies and instrumentalities such as the DOH, PNP, LGUs, IATF, etc. to avoid the further spread of the disease and mitigate its effects and negative impact in our community. Most importantly, let's continue invoking God's intervention thru our ardent prayers for the ultimate stopage or end of this pandemic.

Let's all rekindle our faiths and spirits and never lose hope to be bold enough to say - this too shall pass. See you soon for our future Alumni Homecomings when the pandemic is over. I miss you. Stay safe and God bless us all!

ANNOUNCEMENT:

Due to COVID-19 pandemic which discourages public gathering and encourages social/physical distancing, the Alumni Homecoming this year(8TH ALUMNI HOMECOMING for that matter) of San Fernando (Formerly Nouvelas Oriental) Elementary School of Brgy. San Fernando, Basey, Samar is definitely CANCELLED.

I know, most of us if not all, are always excited for this yearly event. But, sad to say, our present situation coupled with our sense of responsibleness hinder us for the possibility of a celebration. Faced with this scenario, I am instead encouraging each and everyone to do his individual share in helping contain the spread of the coronavirus in order to hasten the flattening of its curve. In my own little way, I'll continue wishing and praying for your safety from this pandemic and with much optimism and faith in the Almighty this too will pass. God bless us all and see you next year for a wonderful or hopefully, an even more eventful Alumni Homecoming!!!

STAY SAFE AND LET'S ALL ASK GOD'S INTERVENTION FOR OUR SAFETY, THAT OF OUR LOVED ONES, OUR MEDICAL PRACTITIONERS, AND ALL OUR FRONTLINERS AND FOR THE END OF THIS HEALTH CRISIS SOON.
