AVFNHS Teachers Trade Lessons for Laughter on Teachers’ Day

Setting aside their daily responsibilities for a day of fun and appreciation, teachers of Andres V. Fortugaleza National High School gathered for a Teachers’ Day celebration on October 2, 2026, at the school grounds, recognizing their dedication and contributions to education.

Organized by the Supreme Secondary Learner Government, with the support of various student organizations, the celebration brought together School Head Mrs. Melanie T. Feril, teachers, faculty and staff members, practice teachers, and students to honor educators who continue to shape the lives of learners.

Adding excitement to the occasion, teachers joined various games that filled the celebration with laughter and gave them a brief escape from their daily workload.

The activities also provided an opportunity for teachers and students to relax, connect, and create lasting memories together.

More than a day of games and laughter, the celebration highlighted the patience, hard work, and lasting influence of the teachers who help shape their learners’ futures.
