𝗔𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗪𝗜𝗡 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗨𝗚𝗢 𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛 | In observance of Fire Prevention Month 2026, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) – Barugo Fire Station successfully conducted the Municipal Level Poster Making Contest on March 10, 2026, at the BFP Barugo Station.

Guided by this year’s theme, “Hangad Nating Lahat, Pamayanang Handa, Aktibo at Masagana,” the competition served as a platform for the youth to demonstrate their artistic prowess while advocating for a fire-safe and resilient community.

With that, the whole Barugo High community would like to extend its warmest congratulations to the following winners:

BARUGO, LEYTE — The municipality of Barugo officially welcomed delegates from SDO Leyte and Tacloban City for the One-Day Clustered Orientation on the Strengthened Senior High School Curriculum Program.

This high-level assembly brought together all public and private senior high school heads and administrators to master the latest strategic enhancements to the national academic framework.

The intensive session served as a vital platform for school leaders to unify their implementation tactics, ensuring that every institution across the division is fully equipped to deliver the updated curriculum effectively.

𝗖𝗢𝗧𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗗𝗘 𝗛𝗢𝗡𝗢𝗥 | The Grade 12 Cotillion de Honor was a breathtaking display of sophistication and grace, serving as a highlight of last night’s 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗜𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗮. Each synchronized step and elegant turn by our seniors symbolized their transition from the classroom to the professional world with newfound maturity and poise.

Opening the festivities with the traditional Rigodon de Honor, our learners traded their school uniforms for stunning long gowns and suits, showcasing a breathtaking display of grace, discipline, and heritage. This classic dance wasn't just a performance, it was a symbol of the maturity and coordination they’ve developed throughout their immersion journey.
