Oh di ba?

05/07/2022

After our physics diagnostic test and checking on Saturday, July 9, we will have our lesson plan reporting. Each student will have a chance to present their lesson plan for 10-15 minutes using their ppt. The teacher will just get an emailed copy of the ppt as the main output of the activity.
Thank you so much. AMDG+

GRADING SYSTEM

30%, Class Performance (zoom, Messenger Group chat, FB group, SMS, and actual face-to-face level of engagement; this includes depth of insights, questions, critiques, comments, sharing, responses, including the 3 required reflection papers—one per week—to be submitted to Sir H every end of Sunday)

30%, Learning Plan presentation (SMART-ness of the set objectives/competencies; content, depth, validity, and propriety of the lesson plan, problems items/sets given, solved, and explained; alignment of the class activities and evaluation tool with the set objectives; propriety of the whole lesson with the given time, audience, and chosen modality e.g. face-to-face or online class; proper use of ppt during the sharing; level of engagement in the presentation proper)

40%, Concept Paper (rationale, statement of the problem, framework, methodology; proper use of ppt during the sharing; level of engagement in the presentation proper)

THINGS TO DO, AS AGREED UPON BY THE CLASS, THIS SUNDAY, JULY 3?
On your own, in an asynchronous way, you are to:

1. RESEARCH AND WORK ON YOUR LESSON PLAN FOR YOUR CHOSEN PHYSICS TOPIC
emailed to Sir H in word form and presented to the class in ppt form during our online classes on July 9 and 10; both the lesson plan in word and the report in ppt form are to be emailed to Sir H on or before 12 midnight of Friday, July 8; this is to make sure that everyone will give full attention to each reporter and not use the day to prepare his/her report anymore; considerable deduction will be given to late passers; lesson plan format and evaluation criteria to be posted by Sir H early next week; if you have not yet identified your physics topic, kindly coordinate with Sir H ASAP via Personal Messenger

2. RESEARCH AND WORK ON YOUR CONCEPT PAPER
emailed to Sir H in word form and presented to the class in ppt form during our online classes on July 13 and 14; both the concept paper in word and the report in ppt form are to be emailed to Sir H on or before 12 midnight of Friday, July 12; this is to make sure that everyone will give full attention to each reporter and not use the day to prepare his/her report anymore; essentially, the paper must have rationale with few related/reference literatures, conceptual and/or theoretical framework, research questions, and methodology; evaluation criteria to be posted by Sir H early next week; for more inquiries, kindly coordinate with Sir H Personal Messenger ASAP

3. WRITE AND SUBMIT A REFLECTION PAPER
that answers the question: What struck you the most in your first two days of session in MILE-1 General Science? What insights, realizations, reflections, and/or feelings have you encountered/made in the process?; email the said reflection paper to Sir H on or before 12 midnight of Sunday, July 3

Very important note: A student who is absent without cause for two out of six summer class days is deemed dropped or failed in class.

Please do not hesitate to contact Sir H anytime 24/7 should you have questions on the above agreed requirements.
