BARKADA FOR CHANGE, FREE FROM DRUGS

The Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) Organization of Wakat National High School, on June 11, 2026, officially conducted its Room-to-Room Advocacy Campaign for School Year 2026–2027, promoting healthy friendships and a lifestyle free from drugs, alcohol, and other harmful vices.

Through this campaign, students are encouraged to understand the dangers of illegal drugs and make better, responsible choices. It highlights the importance of positive peer influence, preventing drug use, and practicing a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.

The BKD officers aim to guide learners in developing good habits and becoming responsible individuals. This also reminds everyone that students play an important role in preventing drug abuse.

Let us remember that preventing drug abuse is a shared responsibility. By supporting one another, we can build a safer and stronger school community.

Every choice we make shapes our future.

The Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) officers of Wakat National High School carried out a random bag inspection within the school premises. This initiative reflects their commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for all learners.

The activity was spearheaded by BKD President, Marian Deligero, together with her fellow officers. Through this effort, the organization strengthens its advocacy against illegal drugs while promoting discipline and responsibility among students.
