TAMBIS CENTRAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHERS RECHARGE IN MARILOG MOUNTAIN RETREAT

The faculty and staff of Tambis Central Elementary School (Barobo, Surigao del Sur) gathered for a wellness retreat and teambuilding activity at Serenity Hills Mountain Resort in Barangay Datu Salumay, Marilog District.

Nestled in the cool, elevated highlands of Davao City, the retreat provided educators with a brief respite from their daily academic duties. Surrounded by lush pine trees, rolling mountain vistas, and crisp morning breezes, the "Tambis Central ES Teacher Family" participated in activities aimed at enhancing professional collaboration and personal wellness.

The retreat featured teambuilding exercises, group reflection sessions, and collaborative planning activities designed to foster camaraderie and strengthen interpersonal bonds across grade levels. Teachers spent time engaging in outdoor recreational activities and taking advantage of the resort's tranquil environment to recharge before the upcoming academic calendar.

School administration emphasized the importance of mental health and team cohesion for educators. "A refreshed and unified faculty directly translates to a better learning environment for our pupils," stated the school leadership, noting that teacher well-being remains a top priority in ensuring educational quality.

The retreat concluded with a fellowship night where teachers shared insights and reflections, leaving the highlands of Marilog invigorated and prepared to support the learners of Tambis Central Elementary School for the school year ahead.
