KNHS YES-O Concludes Dazzling Science Month 2025
YES-O of Kadaclan National High School (KNHS) officially closed the book on its Science Month Celebration 2025, proving that a great celebration is worth the wait. Implemented by the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O), the festivities spanned September and October, culminating in a series of highly engaging and educational activities.
👉Cosmic Journeys and Microscopic Worlds
The flagship event, the Science Exhibit, was a resounding success, offering students an immersive journey into the wonders of the universe. From detailed models, a trip to the solar system and vast universe to a fascinating look at amazing things under the microscope, the exhibit sparked curiosity and offered a hands-on learning experience that captivated students of all levels.
👉Championing Cleanliness and Creativity
The YES-O also pushed the envelope for school environment and sustainability. The Search for the Cleanest Classroom concluded with a well-deserved victory for Grade 7B, setting a new benchmark for cleanliness and order within the school. Following this, the search for the Best Eco-friendly Creative Attire during the Intramural games showcased student ingenuity, transforming recyclable and sustainable materials into high-fashion statements.
👉A Call to Action: Planting the Future
The celebratory month wrapped up with a commitment to environmental stewardship through the Tree Planting and Community Clean-up Drive. This hands-on activity embodied the core mission of YES-O, uniting students, teachers, and the community to improve local ecology and keep the surrounding areas pristine.
Though the celebration was a bit late, the enthusiasm, participation, and impact of the KNHS YES-O's Science Month 2025 activities were undeniable. The message is clear: better late than never when it comes to celebrating science, sustainability, and the collective spirit of the Kadaclan National High School community.
