CTU-Barili SSG ELECTIONS 2025: OFFICIAL RESULTS

The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) of Cebu Technological University – Barili Campus formally announces the official winners of the Supreme Student Government (SSG) Elections held on May 28, 2025, through the iCOMELEC app.

Total Voters: 828
Voter Turnout: 32.6% of the student population

After the validation of results and resolution of petitions, the following candidates are hereby proclaimed as the duly elected officers:

OFFICIAL VOTING GUIDELINES | SSG Elections 2025
Elections Day: May 28, 2025 | 8:00AM-8:00PM

CTU Barili Campus – Commission on Elections (COMELEC)

To ensure a smooth and organized voting process, all students are advised to carefully follow the steps outlined below:

Step 1: Download the iCOMELEC App

Prior to voting day, ensure you have the iCOMELEC mobile application downloaded and installed on your device.

Step 2: Present Your Valid Student ID or Certificate of Registration (COR)

Upon arrival at the Smart Room, present your Student ID or COR for identity verification.

Step 3: Wait for Your Turn

Remain seated and wait for your name to be called. Poll watchers will facilitate the queue to maintain order.

Step 4: Proceed to Your Designated Program/Department Area on Stage

Once called, head to the section assigned to your program or department.

Step 5: Present Your ID/COR to the Assigned Commissioner

Verification will be done again by the designated election commissioner for your department.

Step 6: Access the Online Ballot

Scan the QR code displayed on the monitor using the iCOMELEC app to access your personalized online ballot.

Step 7: Cast Your Vote

Select your preferred candidates. Carefully review your votes before submitting and save a copy of your digital receipt as proof of voting.

Step 8: Sign the Attendance Sheet

After voting, ign the official attendance sheet to confirm your participation.

Step 9: Get Your Finger Inked

As the final step, have your finger inked by COMELEC staff to indicate that you have successfully voted.

FOR IOS USERS: You can borrow an android from a friend as this app is for android only. The same easy steps will apply so make sure to vote.

Please be advised that the elections will not use the traditional pen-and-paper method, as voting will be facilitated through the iCOMELEC app.

All students are required to report to the Smart Room during their vacant periods to secure the access password needed to cast their vote.

It has come to our attention that a meeting involving class mayors was recently conducted under the impression that it was sanctioned by the COMELEC, regarding the upcoming SSG Elections. We would like to clarify that the Commission on Elections did not call for, authorize, or notify any such meeting.

Any meeting conducted without formal notice from the COMELEC does not carry our official endorsement and should not be misconstrued as part of our electoral proceedings or directives.

We advise all concerned parties to await official announcements released only through our verified communication channels.
