Hey everyone!

We are excited to invite all youth aged 13 and above to our Feast Light Sports and Evangelization event on March 8, 2025, at 7 AM at Maghanoy Covered Court.

This event is a great opportunity to come together, have fun, and learn more about our faith. We will be having various sports activities, as well as inspiring talks and worship sessions.

And the best part? Food will be served!

So mark your calendars and come join us for a day filled with sports, fellowship, and spiritual growth.

"Why is dressing properly in church important?"

Dressing modestly in church is a matter of respect for the sacred space and the occasion. It shows reverence for God and consideration for others. Here's why:

• Respect for the Holy Space: Church is a place of worship, a sanctuary where people come to connect with God. Modest attire reflects the solemnity and reverence of the occasion.

• Focus on Worship: Distracting clothing can draw attention away from the spiritual aspect of the service. Modesty helps create an atmosphere of quiet contemplation and devotion.

• Unity and Harmony: When everyone dresses with respect, it fosters a sense of unity and harmony among the congregation. It promotes a shared sense of purpose and belonging.

You receive the priest’s blessing which our Lord ratifies in heaven.
You kneel amidst a multitude of holy angels, who are present at the adorable sacrifice with reverential awe.
You are blessed in your temporal goods and affairs.
Every time we assist at mass and offer the Holy Sacrifice in honor of any particular saint or angel thanking God for favors He bestowed on Him, we afford Him a great degree of honor, joy and happiness and draw His special love and protection on us.
