On Saturday, March 7, 2026, the 𝙃𝙔𝙎𝙀𝙂 𝘿𝙖𝙮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 successfully conducted a high-impact training session at the 𝘾𝙏𝙐 – 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙡𝙞 𝘾𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙪𝙨, focused on empowering future educators with essential life-saving skills.

The seminar featured expert demonstrations from the Barili Rural Health Unit (RHU) and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP). Under the guidance of our supportive adviser, Dr. Margarito B. Callao, students delved into the essentials of Basic Life Support (BLS); including Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Rescue Breathing (RB), and Foreign Body Airway Obstruction Management (FBAOM) for both adult and infant scenarios.

The highlight of the event was the hands-on demonstration, where participants applied what they learned through rigorous return demos, proving their readiness to respond in real-life emergencies. This milestone marks our commitment to building a safer and more prepared SciEd community.

Under the guidance of their research instructor, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗼 𝗕. 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗼. Students confidently shared their research proposals, demonstrating dedication, creativity, and a strong commitment to advancing science education.

From BSEd-Science 1, Rod proudly won 1st Place in the University-Wide Photo Contest during the selection of representatives for the Regional Culture and Arts Festival (RCAF) 2026 at CTU-Main Campus last February 19, 2026.

Rod Lebumfacil's victory is more than just a recognition of talent. It inspires fellow students to pursue their passions with courage and creativity. His success shows that with dedication, we can shine not only for ourselves but also for our community.

He will represent CTU in the upcoming Regional Culture and Arts Festival on March 3–6, 2026 at Cebu Normal University.
