Based on the monitoring of the Local Rain Gauge at Baras Bridge as of 8:30 AM today, September 9, 2025, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC) has recommended the suspension of classes in all levels, public and private, in the Municipality of Baras.

This is to ensure the safety of our students and the community against possible flooding and other hazards.

: WHITE ALERT STATUS

Mula sa BLUE Alert Status, ibinaba na ng Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) Emergency Operations Center ang antas ng paghahanda nito tungo sa WHITE Alert Status, epektibo alas-1:00 ng hapon ngayong Martes, Agosto 26, 2025.

Batay sa inilabas na abiso, ang desisyon ay bunsod ng pagbuti ng kondisyon ng panahon matapos ang mga epekto ng Low Pressure Area at Southwest Monsoon na nakaapekto sa lalawigan.

Inaatasan ang lahat ng Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices (MDRRMOs) na umayon sa bagong direktiba at pairalin ang WHITE Alert Status sa kani-kanilang nasasakupan.

Gayunman, nananatiling obligado ang mga MDRRMO at iba pang kaukulang tanggapan na magsagawa ng tuloy-tuloy na monitoring at magsumite ng kaukulang ulat ukol sa anumang insidenteng may kaugnayan sa patuloy na epekto ng Southwest Monsoon.

Ang mga ulat ay maaaring iparating sa Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) sa pamamagitan ng hotline number 0912-670-7777 o sa opisyal na page na PDRRMO-Catanduanes.

Classes in all levels (public and private) in the Municipality of Baras are suspended on July 17, 2025 (Thursday) due to Tropical Cyclone Crising and the Southwest Moonsoon to ensure the safety of students and personnel as per the Memorandum no. 39, Series of 2025 released by the Office of the Mayor today, July 16.
