LOOK || Teachers of Baras National High School participated in the Regional Orientation on Learning Systems Reform Policies to strengthen awareness and understanding of current educational reforms geared toward quality, inclusive, and learner-centered education.

The second day of the Capacity Building for Teachers in Optimizing Child Rights Policies for Learners’ Positive Discipline: Inputs to the Development of Child-Friendly School Handbook continued to equip BANAHIS educators with essential knowledge and strategies in strengthening child protection and classroom management practices.

📝 Session 3: Strengthening School Response Systems: Implementing the Express Reporting and Intervention Guidelines for Child Protection discussed by Dr. Ferdinand D. Angkahan

📝 Session 4: Optimizing Classroom Management through the Integration of Analogous Child Protection Policies discussed by Mrs. Elimar V. Velgado

The sessions emphasized the importance of responsive school systems, learner safety, and creating positive learning environments where every child is protected, respected, and empowered.

Indeed, this continuing professional development activity strengthens the commitment of teachers in upholding child rights and promoting a culture of care and discipline anchored on compassion and respect. 💙📖

LOOK || Teachers of Baras National High School actively participated in the first of the 3-day Capacity Building for Teachers in Optimizing Child Rights Policies for Learners’ Positive Discipline: Inputs to the Development of Child-Friendly School Handbook, accredited by PRC with 12 CPD Units.

The meaningful learning sessions highlighted the importance of creating safe, inclusive, and child-friendly learning environments for every learner.

The program was graced by our PSDS, Dr. Emilia G. Cayabyab and spearheaded by Dr. Rhene Boy F. Brozo, whose leadership continues to promote learner-centered and rights-based education.
