🍃 CHILL OUT, EDUCATORS 🍃
Here is our MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE #4 which will help you to maintain the passion in our teaching profession 📖
The two-year school closure in the Philippines at the onset of the pandemic has resulted in significant learning losses. Such a scenario reflects a recent World Bank report articulating that global learning poverty is at crisis levels. The report also identifies that learning poverty in the Philippines is at 91% as of 2022, meaning that children aged ten have difficulty reading or understanding a simple story. This crisis affects future learning levels and eventually threatens countries’ efforts to recover from the onslaught of the pandemic and build human capital to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Drawing on the context, the education crisis calls for the serious attention of teachers, students, researchers, and other education stakeholders to develop relevant, contextualized, and pragmatic solutions to education issues.
In response to the call, the Research Publications Department (RPD) and the School of Education will hold the 16th Research Colloquium, with the theme, “The Role of Research in the Midst of an Education Crisis”, on January 14, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 NN. The research papers include but are not limited to the following strands: Education Policy and Administration, Teaching Strategies, Student Engagement, Socioemotional Dimension of Teaching, and Technological Affordances.
Scholarly written papers will be published in our peer-reviewed education journal, Ang Pantas Volume 4.
To register, kindly fill out the registration form below or scan the QR Code at the lower right side of the pubmat.

The Zoom link and program flow will be sent via email one day prior to the event.
E-certificates will be given to the participants.
See you there!
