The Korean Association of Southeast Asian Studies (KASEAS) is pleased to announce the 2026 ASEAN Korea Young Scholar Research Grant (YSRG). This grant supports postgraduate researchers from ASEAN Member States and the Republic of Korea as part of the ASEAN-Korea Platform for Great Minds (AKPGM) project supported by the Government of the Republic of Korea through the ASEAN Korea Cooperation Fund (AKCF).

Selected Grantees will receive:
- Round-trip international airfare for approved fieldwork
- A monthly fieldwork stipend (USD 1400) for up to three
- Honoraria (USD 200) for local research advisors
- Participation in the Young Scholar Research Workshop (Online)

ADVISORY | Shift to Asynchronous Classes on August 11

As the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) continues to affect our students and community, classes remain under an asynchronous setup on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, as per the directive of University President Dr. Evaristo A. Abella.

Meanwhile, offices shall remain open and fully operational to continue serving the community, unless otherwise announced. Any subsequent updates or changes will be communicated through an official advisory from the PLGU/LGU Disaster Risk Reduction Council.

Everyone is expected to remain alert for water accumulation and possible changes in rainfall conditions.
