| JHS AND SHS DEPARTMENTS SHIFT TO ASYNCHRONOUS LEARNING ON AUGUST 27–28 FOR PEAC IN-SERVICE TRAINING
The Junior High School (JHS) and Senior High School (SHS) Departments of Bantayan Southern Institute, Inc. (BSI) will implement asynchronous classes on August 27 and 28, 2026, to accommodate the scheduled In-Service Training (INSET) for JHS teachers, to be conducted by the Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC).
While the training is primarily intended for JHS teachers, some SHS teachers who also handle JHS classes will be participating in the INSET. In consideration of their participation, both the JHS and SHS Departments will shift to asynchronous learning during the said dates.
Students will be provided with learning activities and tasks to accomplish asynchronously to ensure the continuity of learning while teachers attend the training.
The PEAC-led INSET will continue through August 29, 2026, as part of BSI’s continuing professional development efforts to strengthen teachers’ knowledge, skills, and instructional practices.
Face-to-face classes for SHS will resume on August 29, 2026, while JHS classes will resume on September 1, 2026.
