Held at the Great Heights Learning Center Covered Court at the end of the Nutrition Month celebration, this culmination activity brought together GHLC students and guest speaker Dr. Rhea Quilala Narag to promote healthy eating and active living through eating healthy and having exercise activities.
It was such a joy to see the little ones light up the stageโsome wore bright golden corn, plump red tomatoes, long crisp sitaw, and more, each costume bursting with happy colors that turned the school into a lively garden. They beamed with pride as they represented the very food that helps them grow big and strong.
The student also sat down to listened closely to Dr. Rhea Quilala Narag. She shared not just facts, but simple, relatable stories about how skipping vegetables or choosing too many snacks affects health, and how adding one extra serving of greens daily keeps the body and mind ready for anything.
Then came the much-awaited Nutridance. The beat dropped, and everyone danced with heartโsome steps playful, some sharp, all full of joy. They turned lessons about good food into lively moves that drew warm smiles and loud cheers.
The event wrapped up with big smiles and new habits. It showed that healthy living is most meaningful when people do it as one.
