As we officially open another academic year, our school community gathered in the Holy Spirit Mass to seek God's guidance, wisdom, and abundant blessings. The celebration was followed by the blessing of our school and classrooms, dedicating every space to learning, growth, and faith.

Barkda Kontra Droga (BKD) officers of Pedro A. Arches National High School join the "Capacity Development Training for Officers" conducted by the Municipal Anti-drug Abuse Council (MADAC) of the local government unit of Bansalan held at Salinta Monon Sports Complex, Poblacion Dos, Bansalan, Davao del Sur on June 20, 2026 (Saturday).

The activity aims to strengthen the leadership capabilities, awareness, and active participation of BKD Officers in promoting a drug-free school and community environment.

The Municipal Government of Bansalan informs the public that the suspension of classes at all levels, both public and private, is hereby 𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐃.

Accordingly, 𝐢𝐧-𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 in all public and private learning institutions in the Municipality of Bansalan 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰, 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟏𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.

This decision is based on the recommendation of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) and the two Public Schools District Supervisors of the Department of Education, following the conduct of monitoring and assessment activities relative to the effects of the recent earthquake.

School administrators, principals, school heads, teachers, and concerned school officials are reminded to ensure that their respective school premises, classrooms, offices, and facilities are safe and reasonably fit for occupancy before allowing learners and personnel to enter.

Everyone is also advised to remain alert for possible aftershocks and to avoid entering buildings or facilities with visible cracks, structural damage, falling debris, or other signs of unsafe condition.

Please be informed that the earlier suspension of classes and work in government and non-government/private offices or establishments in the Municipality of Bansalan is hereby 𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐃, and 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐊 𝐌𝐀𝐘 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐄 𝐄𝐅𝐅𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐓𝐎𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐑𝐎𝐖, 𝐉𝐔𝐍𝐄 𝟗, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.

Accordingly, work in government offices, national government agencies, GOCCs, private offices, private establishments, including school work of teachers and school personnel, may now resume, subject to the observance of necessary safety precautions and ensuring that their respective workplaces are safe.

However, for the safety of learners and in anticipation of possible aftershocks, 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐒 𝐈𝐍 𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐋𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐋𝐒, 𝐁𝐎𝐓𝐇 𝐏𝐔𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐂 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐕𝐀𝐓𝐄, 𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐀𝐈𝐍 𝐒𝐔𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐃 𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐋 𝐅𝐔𝐑𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐈𝐂𝐄.

The RDANA Team, together with the concerned offices and personnel, shall continue to inspect and assess public buildings, school facilities, and other structures to determine whether they are safe and fit for occupancy following the earthquake.

All concerned are advised to remain alert, avoid entering buildings, classrooms, or facilities with visible damage, and follow official safety advisories from the LGU, MDRRMO, school authorities, and other concerned agencies.
