As the School Year 2025–2026 comes to a close, Vicente Duterte Elementary School proudly shares the beautiful smiles, memories, and milestones captured in our official Class Pictures.

Each photograph tells a story — a year filled with learning, friendship, perseverance, and growth. From the first day of classes to the final bell of the school year, our learners have shown dedication, resilience, and the true spirit of being a Batang VDES.

With heavy hearts, we remember and honor the life of Ma’am Nenita E. Bejoc, a devoted and passionate teacher of Vicente Duterte Elementary School, who has touched countless lives through her years of service.

For many years, Ma’am Nenita dedicated herself to shaping young minds, nurturing not only knowledge but also values, discipline, and kindness in every learner she guided. Her classroom was more than a place of learning—it was a space of warmth, patience, and inspiration. To her colleagues, she was a dependable mentor and a source of wisdom; to her students, she was a second mother who believed in their potential.

Her legacy lives on in the lives she transformed, the lessons she shared, and the hearts she uplifted. Though she may no longer walk among us, her impact will forever remain in the halls of Vicente Duterte Elementary School.

We extend our deepest condolences to her family, loved ones, and all whose lives she has touched.

Vicente Duterte Elementary School - DepEd Davao del Sur proudly celebrates another remarkable achievement as our learner, Natalie Trish Albarracin, was crowned Most Popular Girl Scout 2026 during the 54th Council-wide Celebration of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines – Davao del Sur Council, held at Gaisano Grand Mall of Digos in Digos City on March 14, 2026.

This victory marks a historic back-to-back achievement for Vicente Duterte Elementary School, as it is the second consecutive year that our school has produced the Most Popular Girl Scout of the Province. Last year, the crown was also brought home by our very own Zylynne G. Quijano, making this a proud moment for the entire school community.

Your Vicente Duterte ES family is immensely proud of you, Natalie! Your confidence, dedication, and Girl Scout spirit truly shine. May you continue to inspire fellow learners to lead with courage, service, and excellence.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | 𝗦𝗘𝗟𝗚 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Vicente Duterte Elementary School successfully conducted the School Elementary Learner Government (SELG) Election 2026 last January 30, 2026. This meaningful event gave our learners the opportunity to exercise their right to vote, practice leadership, and actively participate in democratic processes within the school community.

What an action-packed day at Vicente Duterte Elementary School - DepEd Davao del Sur!

A big shoutout to the amazing rescuers from the Bansalan MDRRMO (Bansalan Reskyu Gobyerno) for bringing their superhero skills to our campus as they conducted the School-Based Basic First Aid Training for selected learners and teachers.

Our participants got to: do REAL CPR. Yes, just like in the movies!; learn the life-saving Heimlich Maneuver for choking; practice cool bandaging skills; and so much more!

But wait, the fun didn’t stop there.
The MDRRMO team also brought food and snacks that kept everyone energized and smiling. Kaya naman hindi lang sila natuto at nag-enjoy, nabusog pa talaga.

Thank you, MDRRMO, for making safety training exciting, empowering, and delicious.

Our hearts are full!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who supported our BOOKLAT Para sa Lahat (Book Donation Drive). Because of your kindness and generosity, our initiative has now gathered 61 donated books. Each one a doorway to imagination, knowledge, and hope.

These books will be sent to the district and distributed by the division to schools that are in need of learning resources. Your simple act of sharing will make a meaningful difference in classrooms where books are few but dreams are big.

Together, let’s continue building bridges of hope through reading.

What a magical and meaningful day at Vicente Duterte Elementary School - DepEd Davao del Sur as we celebrated the culmination of National Reading and Book Month. Our school came alive with colors, characters, and creativity as learners proudly showcased their love for books in various fun and inspiring activities.

Learners marched with confidence, bringing their favorite story characters to life with vibrant costumes and big smiles. They also impressed everyone with their acting skills, reenacting scenes that taught lessons, values, and imagination. A heartwarming moment as well as a reader from grade 4 shared a story that sparked curiosity and inspired young minds.

We proudly honored not just the winners, but all learners who participated, especially those who generously donated books to BOOKLAT Para sa Lahat. Your kindness will reach more schools and more children who need them most.

To everyone, teachers, learners, and parents, thank you for making this month-long celebration truly meaningful. Your support helps us build a community where reading is loved, shared, and lived.
