SEPTEMBER | VALUES AND SPIRITUAL UPLIFTMENT SESSIONS

A month of meaningful messages, reflections, and life lessons centered on one important value—RESPECT. 💛

Throughout September, the Values and Spiritual Upliftment Sessions, led by the Pearl of the Orient International Auxiliary Chaplain’s Values Educators, Inc., inspired our learners to understand and practice respect in their everyday lives.

Through their meaningful speeches and inspiring messages, our speakers reminded us that respect begins with how we speak, how we listen, and how we treat others—with kindness, dignity, and understanding.

May the lessons we learned this month continue to live in our hearts and be reflected in our words and actions. 🙏

🕊️ A Final Message, A Lasting Legacy 🕊️

With deep sadness, we bid farewell to our beloved Chaplain Emely Ucol.

Last Tuesday, September 08, 2026, Chaplain Emely shared with us her message about the ethical value of RESPECT, reminding us of the importance of giving respect and honor to our parents.

Little did we know that those words would be her final message to us.

Her last lesson now carries a deeper meaning. It is a reminder to value our parents, to honor those who raised and cared for us, and to live with respect and gratitude.

Thank you, Chaplain Emely Ucol, for leaving us with a meaningful lesson that we will carry in our hearts.

Your voice may now be silent, but your message will continue to speak through the lives you have touched.

Rest peacefully, Chaplain Emely. Your final message of RESPECT will never be forgotten. 🕊️🤍

VALUES FORMATION AND SPIRITUAL UPLIFTMENT SESSION

Every Tuesday morning, before the start of the first period, the learners of Caestebanan National High School gather for a meaningful Values Formation and Spiritual Upliftment Session.

This Tuesday, Chaplain Jayson Manlapas shared a message based on Joshua 1:9, reminding everyone to “be strong and courageous” because the Lord is always with us.

His message highlighted this month’s Ethical Theme: Courage—encouraging learners to face challenges and overcome fear with faith, strength, and trust in God. 🙏💛

DepEd Ethical Theme: COURAGE

In line with the DepEd Ethical Theme for the Month of August: Courage, Chaplain Jemelee S. Malvecino served as the speaker during the Tuesday Values Formation and Spiritual Upliftment Session. She emphasized that courage is not the absence of fear, but the strength to keep moving forward despite difficulties and uncertainties.

Through her inspiring message, she encouraged everyone to develop the courage to face life's trials, overcome challenges, and remain steadfast in every situation. She reminded the learners that with faith, determination, and a positive mindset, they can conquer obstacles and continue striving toward their goals.

Her message inspired everyone to be brave, resilient, and confident in facing whatever challenges life may bring.

Our Grade 7 – Naregta learners are reminded of the importance of wearing a hard hat for head protection, a safety vest for visibility, and carrying an emergency go bag for unexpected situations.
Being prepared today can make all the difference tomorrow.

💕Mrs. Emely Ucol, a dedicated member of the Pearl of the Orient International Auxiliary Chaplain's Values Educators, Inc., shared an inspiring message on Integrity during our Values Formation and Spiritual Upliftment Session.

Through the story of Job, she reminded our learners that integrity is demonstrated through unwavering faith, honesty, perseverance, and remaining faithful to God even in the midst of trials. Job's life teaches us that true integrity means doing what is right and trusting God regardless of life's circumstances.
