BUENO, CORPUZ WIN MR. AND MS. CARNHS PALARO 2026
Eight pairs step into the spotlight as CarNHS Palaro celebrates confidence beyond the playing field.
CARIBQUIB, BANNA, ILOCOS NORTE — Aljur L. Bueno of Grade 9–Nadayaw and Sabrina Ann M. Corpuz of Grade 9 emerged as Mr. and Ms. CarNHS Palaro 2026 during the pageant held on September 2, 2026, at the Caribquib National High School Quadrangle, capping a night of confidence, school spirit, and friendly competition.
Eight pairs of candidates representing different grade levels and teams stepped into the spotlight, bringing a different kind of competition to the annual CarNHS Palaro. Away from the usual courts and playing fields, the candidates faced the crowd, the lights, and the challenge of representing their teams with confidence.
Taking the First Runner-Up titles were Jacob Garcia of Grade 10–Nagaget and Danniella Gayle Dimaya of Grade 11–Nasudi.
Wilmar Martinez of Grade 12–Nakired and Jelizah Brianna Guerrero of Grade 8–Nasingked were named Second Runner-Up, while Carlo Rosqueta Bocoya of Grade 11–Nasudi and Zoe Palaspas of Grade 7–Naregta secured the Third Runner-Up titles.
For the candidates, the pageant offered a different kind of challenge. There were no opponents to outrun or shots to make—only a stage to cross, an audience to face, and moments when confidence mattered most.
Cheers echoed across the quadrangle as classmates and teammates rallied behind their representatives. Behind the smiles and polished appearances were hours of preparation, nervous moments, and the courage to step forward despite the pressure.
More than the search for winners, the pageant provided learners with an opportunity to showcase talents and personalities beyond sports. It encouraged confidence, self-expression, and camaraderie among students representing different teams and grade levels.
The event added another layer to CarNHS Palaro 2026, showing that the spirit of competition is not limited to athletic events. For one evening, the quadrangle became a different kind of playing field—one where presence, confidence, and personality took the spotlight.
As the final names were announced, Bueno and Corpuz stood at the center of the celebration, joined by the other titleholders who shared the spotlight and helped make the evening memorable for the CarNHS community.
