Today, we honor the memory of Mr. Rufino G. Root, former School Head of Caribquib National High School (1975-1993).

More than a leader, he was a pillar of guidance and inspiration to the entire community. While he will be deeply missed, his impact on our school and our hearts will never be forgotten.

Our deepest condolences and prayers go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.

Rest in Peace, Sir. Thank you for your service and leadership.🙏

In celebration of Earth Month and the SCI-Kalikasan Year 4 of Schools Division Office of Ilocos Norte, the non-teaching staff of Caribquib National High School came together with one goal, to care for the environment we all share.

Held within the school grounds, their collective efforts reflected teamwork, responsibility, and genuine concern for nature. From simple acts of cleaning to promoting sustainable practices, they proved that every helping hand counts.

Their participation is a reminder that protecting our environment is not defined by position, but by purpose. Together, we make a difference.

In celebration of Earth Day, all monitoring schools are encouraged to mobilize non-teaching personnel on April 22, 2026, from 8:00–10:00 AM to carry out meaningful environmental activities.

Suggested initiatives include clean-up drives, waste management campaigns, and sustainability efforts aligned with Key Initiative No. 7: Community Immersion and Environmental Engagement.

Please note: Teachers are on undisturbed vacation and are not required to participate. Only non-teaching personnel reporting for duty are requested to lead these activities.

Let’s work together in promoting environmental responsibility and community involvement.
