Today, Banna Academy Inc. officially launches the Teachers’ Month Celebration and School Intramurals 2026—a meaningful celebration that brings our entire school community together in the spirit of gratitude, camaraderie, sportsmanship, teamwork, and excellence.

IN PHOTOS | In celebration of Genyo’s 20th anniversary, Banna Academy Incorporated (BAI) of Banna, Ilocos Norte, actively participated in the National LTRLinx Week held today, September 9, 2026.

LTRLinx is a nationwide literacy initiative that turns vocabulary building into an exciting, engaging intraschool competition.

Students from BAI took part in the activity, showcasing their vocabulary knowledge, quick thinking, and love for learning. Following the competition, three top-performing students were selected.

Genyo, one of the educational programs offered by DIWA, is made available to private schools across the country, providing digital learning resources designed to complement classroom instruction and help make learning more engaging, interactive, and accessible.

Banna, Ilocos Norte — September 9, 2026. Banna Academy Inc. conducted a Simulation Exercise on Safety Drill for Active Attacks today, in response to the national directive strengthening school preparedness and response to active attack incidents.

The activity began with a comprehensive safety lecture led by representatives from the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), and the Rural Health Unit (RHU).

Serving as resource persons were PMAJ Exequiel Giovanni Deloroso, Chief of Police of Banna MPS; SFO4 Jay V. Simbol, Acting Fire Marshal; Engr. Richard Banquil, MDRRMO Head; and representatives from the RHU, who provided essential guidance on preparedness, emergency response, and safety protocols during active attack situations.

School Principal Mrs. Janice M. Cacao expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the participating agencies and individuals, personally acknowledging each of them for their valuable time, expertise, and support in strengthening the safety and security of the Banna Academy community.

Following the lecture, students, faculty, and personnel participated in the simulation exercise, putting the discussed protocols and response procedures into practice.

At the conclusion of the activity, Banna Academy Inc. successfully passed the post-assessment evaluation, demonstrating its preparedness and commitment to maintaining a safe and secure learning environment.
