ADVISORY

7 April 2024 - In order to allow learners to complete pending assignments, projects and other requirements, all public schools nationwide shall implement ASYNCHRONOUS CLASSES/DISTANCE LEARNING on Monday, 8 April 2024.

Likewise, teaching and non-teaching personnel in all public schools shall not be required to report to their stations.

Finally, private schools shall not be covered by this advisory but shall have the option to implement the same.

"MHS STAR Clinches a Fantastic Comeback at DSPC 2024"

The Division Schools Press Conference was participated by MHS STAR's young journalist, held at Matalam High School last Saturday, March 23, 2024 around 8:00 a.m.

With excitement, bravery, and confidence bringing their pen, paper and wisdom as their weapon to write nothing but only the truth, the MHS star young journalist brought the name of the school to DSPC with pride and honor.

The MHS STAR was a come backer at this event after several years of not participating in this event, indeed it was a great comeback for MHS star, Liberty Bacalso clinched the spot in Filipino Feature Writing as the Top 10, meanwhile Kia Karyl Dane Llamera secured her ticket for RSPC.

During the competition the MHS STAR's young journalist was full of determination and courage facing around 1,800 young journalists coming from different municipalities, with all the pressure MHS STAR journalists did their best at their respective events.

Before the event took place Malinao High School journalist underwent a training in preparation for the upcoming event with the guidance of their coaches, the students showed perseverance and willingness to learn to give their competitor a good fight.

When the DSPC came to an end, the coaches commended their students for their great performance as a first timer competitor at this event, it was a great and memorable experience for MHS STAR'S young journalist.

Malinao High School was proud of all the student journalists who participated in DSPC, MHS star also rooting for a wonderful performance in the upcoming RSPC coming from Kia Karyl Dane Llamera.

"For Safety Precautions MHS Conducts an Earthquake Drill"

Earthquake Drill was Conducted at Malinao High School on Friday March 22, 2024 around 9:00 a.m.

The event aimed to educate every student of Malinao High School, that is why the school conducted an earthquake Drill to inform all students of MHS on what they should properly do during an earthquake.

The students of MHS cooperated with the activity of the school, during the second period the earthquake Drill happened, all students in different sections and grade levels came out on their designated building and proceeded to the open area of school.

MHS students performed the duck, cover, and hold to show cooperation to the school earthquake Drill activity. This event aimed for the safety of every student if an earthquake occurred during class hours.

During the activity the Sir W***y Lloyd Betito, SDRRM Coordinator taught all students of MHS on how the duck, cover, and hold properly performed during an earthquake incident for the sake of their safety, also to have enough knowledge if this event happened in real life.

This activity aimed to expand and give importance to the welfare and safety of all MHS students, also to minimize some injury cases if an earthquake might occur in School including in other places.

The purpose of this activity was to spread information and awareness not only to the students of MHS but also to every citizen of a community and to expand their knowledge on how dangerous earthquakes might be.

"Banisilan PNP Conduct Information Dissemination in Malinao High School"

Information Dissemination was Conducted by Banisilan Police Personnel at Malinao High School on Friday March 22, 2024 around 7:20 a.m.

The event started with a flag raising ceremony program lead by Grade 10 Newton and was followed by a short symposium aimed to give awareness to all MHS students about the law and regulation of the School including the community guidelines.

Police Captain Joeven F. Alisasis-Deputy Chief of Police was the speaker, he discussed some School guidelines and community rules that all students must followed he also said some consequences if this law was abided by someone.

The event was aiming to spread information to all MHS students especially those students who was involved in riot activities outside or inside the school premises are this past few days, also to educate them on what consequences of their action they might face.

According to Police Chief Master Sargent-Rogic E. Casumpang (Team Leader) this was not only conducted to inform every students about the community law, but also to prevent all MHS students in using drugs by expanding their knowledge on how dangerous and alarming drugs is.

Police Chief Master Sargent-Rogic E. Casumpang said that not only in Malinao High School they are conducting this kind of event, he said that they visited all other schools around Banisilan almost every week but due to their hectic schedule sometimes they won't able to visit.

After the event, the Banisilan Police called out all students who have participation in the past riots incident in school, aiming to spread information on what consequences they might face, also for them enable to realize their wrong doings.
