MASS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT | TERM 1 OPENING BLOCK SY 2026–2027

The St. Lawrence the Deacon Academy community gathered in prayer and thanksgiving as the school officially opened the Term 1 Opening Block for School Year 2026–2027 through the celebration of the Mass of the Holy Spirit held on June 8, 2026, at the SLDA Parish Church

The Holy Mass, presided over by Fr. John Francis C. Aberion, RCJ, LPT, Campus Minister of SLDA, marked the beginning of a new academic year entrusted to the guidance and wisdom of the Holy Spirit. Students, faculty, and staff came together to seek God's blessings as they embarked on another year of learning, growth, service, and excellence.

Through this meaningful celebration, the school community renewed its commitment to faith, integrity, and academic excellence, while praying for a fruitful and productive school year ahead.

May the Holy Spirit continue to enlighten minds, strengthen hearts, and guide every Lawrenian throughout the journey of SY 2026–2027.

The halls of St. Lawrence the Deacon Academy once again came alive as we officially opened School Year 2026–2027 with our Term 1 Opening Block.

Today's activities featured the introduction of our dedicated teaching personnel, who will guide and inspire our learners throughout the academic year. Comprehensive orientations were also conducted across all year levels, equipping students with essential information on school policies, academic expectations, programs, and activities to ensure a productive and successful school year ahead.

As we embark on this new journey of learning, growth, and discovery, may this school year be filled with meaningful experiences, academic excellence, lasting friendships, and countless opportunities to achieve our goals.

Let's start the new School Year, with a thanksgiving to the Lord and to ask His Holy Spirit to inspire us this School Year 2026-2027!

Dear Lawrenians, as we begin the new School Year 2026-2027, we shall have the Mass of the Holy Spirit tomorrow, June 8, 2026 (Monday) to be held at the St. Lawrence the Deacon Parish Church (Main Church).

It will be presided over by REV. FR. JOHN FRANCIS C. ABERION, RCJ, our new Campus Minister and Theology Teacher.

We invoke the help of the Holy Spirit to inspire us to open our hearts to the wisdom that the Father will provide for us for this new school year.

BRIGADA ESKWELA 2026 | DAY 4

As Brigada Eskwela 2026 nears its culmination, the SLDA community continues to work hand in hand in ensuring that every learning space is fully prepared for the opening of classes.

Day 5 focused on the finishing touches of classroom beautification, garden improvement, and the enhancement of school facilities. Efforts were also directed toward organizing and securing electrical wiring inside classrooms and the Computer Laboratory, making them safer, more functional, and ready to support effective teaching and learning.

These final preparations reflect our shared commitment to providing a clean, organized, and learner-friendly environment where students can grow academically, socially, and spiritually.

Every repaired fixture, every maintained garden, and every improved learning space is a testament to the dedication and cooperation of those who continue to serve o.ur school community.

Thank you to everyone who contributed their time, skills, and effort in making St. Lawrence the Deacon Academy more ready than ever for School Year 2026–2027. Together, we continue to build a school that inspires excellence, safety, and learning.

BRIGADA ESKWELA 2026 | DAY 3

The spirit of Bayanihan continues to thrive at St. Lawrence the Deacon Academy as Brigada Eskwela 2026 enters its third day of meaningful service and collaboration.

Students, together with their parents, generously dedicated their time and effort to help prepare our school for another productive academic year. Their commitment and willingness to serve reflect the strong partnership between the school and the families we proudly serve.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Student Apprentices of the Bachelor of Culture and Arts Education (BCAED) Program from Mariano Marcos State University for lending their hands and sharing their valuable time in maintaining and improving our school environment.

Likewise, we sincerely thank INEC for their purposeful work in clearing tree branches and leaves along the school pathways. Their efforts helped address vegetation that was disrupting the lining of electrical wires within the school grounds, contributing to a safer and more orderly campus for everyone.

As we continue this journey of service, we are reminded that every act of kindness and volunteerism brings us closer to creating a clean, safe, and learner-friendly environment.

The SLDA Community continues to embody the spirit of Bayanihan as Brigada Eskwela 2026 carries on with enthusiasm and dedication!

Teachers and students remain united in their commitment to preparing the school for the upcoming academic year. Through collective effort, classrooms and school facilities are continuously being cleaned, organized, and improved to create a safe, welcoming, and conducive learning environment for all.

Day 2 is a testament to the dedication, teamwork, and shared responsibility of the SLDA family in ensuring that our school is ready to provide quality Catholic education to every learner.
