SELF-DISCIPLINE IN ACTION: CLEANLINESS IS EVERYONE'S RESPONSIBILITY
As part of the DepEd Monthly Ethical Values Program with the theme Self-Discipline - Cleanliness, our learners actively participated in a Clean-Up Drive and school beautification activity to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the school premises and its surrounding environment.
Through this activity, the learners demonstrated responsibility, teamwork, and environmental stewardship by collecting waste and promoting proper sanitation practices. Their enthusiasm and willingness to serve reflect the importance of self-discipline in maintaining a clean, healthy, and conducive learning environment.
Let us continue to instill the value of cleanliness in our daily lives, remembering that a clean school is a shared responsibility and a reflection of disciplined individuals.
Clean surroundings inspire positive learning and responsible citizenship.
Kudos to all our learners and teachers for their active participation and commitment to keeping our school and community clean!
Today, Alao-ao Elementary School successfully participated in the Second Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) as part of our continuous commitment to safety and disaster preparedness.
the school is proud of our learners, teachers, and school personnel for their active participation and cooperation during the activity. The drill highlighted the importance of the โDuck, Cover, and Holdโ principle, proper evacuation procedures, and maintaining calm and order during emergencies.
Through this drill, we reinforce our goal of building a culture of preparedness and resilience among our learners and the entire school community.
Let us always remember: Preparedness saves lives!

Todayโs meaningful learning session highlights the importance of community collaboration in educating and protecting our children. A representative from the local police station conducts an informative talk for young learners about child protection and the importance of staying safe.
With the theme โIkaw, Ako, Tayo! Sama-samang Pagkilos para sa Batang Malaya,โ the activity emphasizes that every individual plays a role in safeguarding childrenโs rights. The discussion on โRed Card to Child Labourโ reminds our learners that children belong in schoolโlearning, playing, and growing in a safe and supportive environment.
Learning becomes even more meaningful when it is paired with care and nourishment. In todayโs activity, our young learners not only gained valuable knowledge about their rights and protection, but they were also provided with healthy snacks prepared with love and support from our community partners.
The simple act of sharing food reminds us that education is holisticโit nurtures both the mind and the body. As we continue to promote awareness on important issues like child protection and the fight against child labor, we also ensure that our learners feel cared for, valued, and energized.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this activity a success. Together, we continue to build a safe, healthy, and joyful space for every child to learn and grow.
