The Technology and Livelihood Education — Community of Researchers and Innovators in Technology in Education (TLE-CREATE) successfully conducted its election of officers yesterday July 29, 2026, marking another milestone in upholding democratic student governance within the college.

The electoral process brought together Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education (BTLED) students in a meaningful exercise of leadership and civic responsibility. The election was facilitated by Program Head Dr. Emalyn C. Bisares, with advisers Sir Jake Delos Santos and Sir Wilfredo Salvador guiding the process to ensure a smooth and credible vote.

The event highlighted the importance of active student participation, accountability, and a shared commitment to fostering an inclusive and progressive academic community. With the election now concluded, the newly elected officers have been entrusted with the responsibility to advance student welfare, promote collaboration, and initiate programs that contribute to the growth and development of the College of Teacher Education.

𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 is a distinguished program located in the heart of the College of Teacher Education (CTE), developing budding trailblazers that answers the call of demand for this program in today’s technology-driven world.

As a program, BTLED has demonstrated a strong commitment to fostering collaboration and leadership skills and building connections among its organizational members through TLE-CREATE activities, where both students and faculty work together towards enhancing the learning environment and the quality of education as a whole. This program welcomes everyone, where discrimination does prosper, prevents bullying, racial discrimination, and gender-based discrimination among the community.

The program objectives and goals are designed to cater to the needs of the students in their college journey, providing them a gender-sensitive, safe, and motivating learning environment.

With the dedicated team of teachers and officers, the BTLED program continues to develop practical skills in various TLE fields. This aims to provide BTLED students with hands-on experiences in various fields such as home economics, agriculture, industrial arts, and information and communication technology, ensuring they acquire the practical skills needed.

The 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧-𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (TLE-CREATE) primary duty is to advocate for and protect the interests of students, fostering a sense of unity among students, regardless of differences, and upholding discipline and order within the college to promote unity and recognizing the importance of effective communication and information sharing within the College of Teacher Education, especially to the BTLED students.

𝒟𝒶𝓎 𝟥 𝑜𝒻 𝒮𝓉𝓊𝒹𝑒𝓃𝓉 𝒲𝑒𝑒𝓀 𝓌𝒶𝓈 𝒻𝓊𝓁𝓁 𝑜𝒻 𝒻𝓊𝓃 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝑒𝓃𝑒𝓇𝑔𝓎!

The BTLED program joined the Color Fun Run 2026 last March 26, 2026. The day started with a warm-up exercise to prepare everyone’s body, and the fun run began at 5:30 AM around Bangued town.

After the run, the participants moved with the sound and followed the beat as they swayed their hips and stomped their feet on the ASIST grounds. The Zumba activity was lively and enjoyable, as students, teachers, and administrators moved in rhythm and performed Zumba routines to the trending music “Hawak Mo ang Beat.”

The event aimed to develop physical fitness and well-being while promoting unity in the community and supporting both mental and physical health.

𝔹𝕣𝕚𝕕𝕘𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕤𝕜𝕚𝕝𝕝𝕤 𝕒𝕟𝕕 𝕀𝕟𝕟𝕠𝕧𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟: BTLED and BTVTED conducts Student Product Expo.

The BTVTED and BTLED programs join forces in celebrating students' skills in food processing, packaging, and product innovation through hands-on experiential learning on the recently concluded Student Week Celebration where students display their skills and innovations through a Student Expo.

With the support and effort of the program heads 𝐃𝐫. 𝐄𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐧 𝐂. 𝐁𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐬 (BTLED Program Head) and Ms. An Creia P. Tupasi (BTVTED Program Head).

The said activity provides students with the opportunity to showcase their prowess in the field of innovation where students presented their actual output from their respective courses. Highlighting the practical application of learning beyond the classroom.

𝐊𝐢𝐞𝐡𝐥 𝐁𝐞𝐣𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧 (TLE CREATE Sec.) introduced the distinguished roster of judges for the said event: 𝐃𝐫. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐕. 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐚 (CTE Dean), 𝐌𝐫. 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐨 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐯𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐫 𝐉𝐫., 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐫. 𝐋𝐞𝐦𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝐁. 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐨.

During the student expo. the program started with an opening prayer by 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐳 (SSEA Vice Gov.). 𝐉𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐝 𝐓𝐮𝐝𝐢ñ𝐨, the TLE-CREATE Governor, officially welcomed all the participants, guests, and students. followed by the rationale of the event was then facilitated by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐄𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐧 𝐂. 𝐁𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐬, BTLED program head, emphasizing the importance and purpose of the event, and the pledge of the students was then conducted.

An inspirational message was shared by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐕. 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐚 (CTE Dean), emphasizing the significance of the event.

Awarding of a certificate was then officiated, particularly the awarding of the winners on the different categories of the stated event.

Finally, 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚 (SSEA Gov.) officially closes the program and recognizes the contributions and participation of students from both programs.

As the event finally concluded it highlights the power of innovation, creativity, and the commitment of the community on research, which was observed in this year's Student Product Expo.

Congratulations College of Teacher Education, Bangued Campus

Good news! Good news!

The College of Teacher Education proudly shares the results of its accreditation last September 2025 by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities of the Philippines (AACCUP).

The Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) program earned Level IV while the Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) program achieved Level III, proving that both met high standards.

This recognition was given by AACCUP after carefully checking areas like faculty, instruction, curriculum, research, extension, student support and more.

These achievements show the school’s strong effort to provide quality education and produce skilled future teachers.
