The Society of Industrial Technology Innovators notifies the student body of this. It is recommended that students stay informed about learning modalities and other necessary actions through official announcements from the university and relevant local authorities. After years of hiatus brought about by the pandemic, the 𝘚𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘩 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘛𝘦𝘯 𝘖𝘶𝘵𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘚𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴 (𝘛𝘖𝘚𝘗) is back and the University of Abra proudly joins this year’s search with a remarkable student leader representing our institution.

College of Industrial Technology Orientation and Re-orientation
July 30, 2026 | 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Dr. Leo T. Pasos, Dean of the College of Industrial Technology, made the welcoming statement. He enthusiastically welcomed the freshmen and returning students as they started the new school year. In his message, he enjoined all to continue their commitment to studying, be disciplined and respectful, and participate actively in college activities. He further urged all to exert effort, take responsibility, and unite in order to achieve academic excellence. The encouraging words of Dr. Pasos inspired the students to make use of the learning opportunities and excel while in the College of Industrial Technology. He showed the data of students in CIT department's population.

Following the opening remarks, the presentation of the administration, faculty, and staff was done. Dr. Judith V. Casabar, Program Chair of Information Technology, presented the program coordinators, faculty members, and staff, making the students acquainted with the people that will guide and support them in their academic endeavors.

Orientation was also done about the academic rules and regulations of the college, schedule of fees, guidance services, medical and dental services, student conduct and discipline, scholarship and financial assistance, library services, student publication, spiritual services, food services, security services, MIS services, sports and cultural services.

The Technocrats they distributed the school paper new for the CIT students.

Hanna E. Baruela also received special recognition for placing 7th in the College Placement Test. She received a Certificate of Recognition from the Guidance Office for her excellent achievement.

The Constitution and By-Laws (CBL) and the approved resolutions of the organization were discussed by Governor Marc Ryan Bergonia of the Society of Industrial Technology Innovators (SITI). And mentioned anyone who wants to run in the upcoming election for the mandated organization.

The event closed with closing remarks by Dr. Judith V. Casabar and left the students informed, inspired and ready for the new academic year
