We hope everyone is safe and sound. Now that the weather is finally cooperating, here is a key update for all college students.

๐Ÿ“Classes for ALL COLLEGE STUDENTS will resume on AUGUST 12, 2026.

It's time to shift from "typhoon hibernation mode" to "student hustle mode." We know you've enjoyed the break, but itโ€™s time to prepare to trade the comfort of your room for the familiar halls of DWCB.

Pack your bags, check your schedules, and get ready for another fresh start. We are so excited to welcome you all back!

The Central Board of Students recognizes the participation of the student leaders of Divine Word College of Bangued in the School Safety and Emergency Preparedness Training held on August 4, 2026, at the DWCB Gymnasium.

The program commenced with the welcome remarks of Mr. Christopher P. Ramos, MAEd, Prefect of Discipline, who emphasized the importance of preparedness, responsibility, and proactive leadership in responding to emergency situations.

The sessions were facilitated by Mrs.Elizabeth M. Taloma, MATFil, Dean of Student Affairs, who discussed earthquake preparedness and led the earthquake drill. Mrs. Alicia Faminialagao, RN, RM, and Mrs. Mariel Anne T. Beza, RN, conducted the First Aid and CPR Awareness session, including informative discussions and practical demonstrations.

The training provided the student leaders with essential knowledge and hands-on skills in emergency response. It also reinforced the importance of resilience, social responsibility, and collective action in promoting a safe and secure school community.

The DWCB Acquaintance Party for college freshmen and transferees was held on July 9, 2026, at the DWCB gym. The program opened with a prayer led by Mr. Ron Ysmael Martinez, followed by a warm welcome and opening message from Mrs. Elizabeth M. Taloma, MATHFIL, Dean of Student Affairs. Students showcased their talents on the red carpet and performed by department and section. While some prepared their costumes, the Central Board of Students hosted icebreaker games and raffles with exciting and useful prizes. Rev. Fr. Edgar Calunod, SVD, PhD, gave an inspiring message before the early dinner.
