INSET 2026 | Learning, Sharing, Creating

A productive and meaningful INSET 2026 at Patucannay Elementary School!

Our teachers actively engaged in a day of professional learning focused on strengthening curriculum-aligned instruction and developing learning resources.

We were also honored by the visit of our Public Schools District Supervisor, Ma’am Analyn Atmosfera, whose presence and support added inspiration to our INSET journey.

INSET Output: Each teacher-participant will develop and submit one Self-Learning Module (SLM) anchored on the least-learned competencies identified from Term 1. This output aims to provide targeted learning support and meaningful intervention for our learners.

Indeed, professional development becomes more meaningful when learning is translated into concrete resources that directly respond to our learners’ needs.

SCHOOL SAFETY DRILL: ACTIVE ATTACK INCIDENT

Safety is everyone’s responsibility. Our school recently conducted an Active Attack Safety Drill to strengthen the preparedness, awareness, and emergency response skills of our learners, teaching staff, and personnel.

Through this drill, everyone practiced the proper safety procedures when the ON–OFF alarm signal is heard:

1. LOCK – Lock doors and windows
2. BARRICADE – Block the door with available furniture
3. CURTAINS DOWN – Close curtains/blinds
4. LIGHTS OFF – Turn off the lights
5. KEEP SILENT – Remain quiet and keep phones on silent
6. HIDE – Stay out of sight and away from doors and windows
7. WAIT – Remain inside until the official “ALL-CLEAR” is announced

Once the site is officially declared CLEAR, everyone will exit calmly with both hands raised and proceed directly to the School Gymnasium/Covered Court – Reunification Area, staying with their respective classes and following instructions.

📢 REMEMBER:
ON–OFF ALARM → LOCK → BARRICADE → CURTAINS DOWN → LIGHTS OFF → SILENCE → HIDE → WAIT → ALL-CLEAR → HANDS UP → GO TO SCHOOL GYM
