ONE-DAY CLUSTER-BASED INSET 2026

Today, September 10, 2026, the dedicated faculty of Lubong Elementary School and Agtangao Elementary School gathered at Agtangao Elementary School for the One-Day Cluster-Based In-Service Training (INSET) 2026.

The training provided a meaningful avenue for teachers to strengthen their knowledge, skills, and practices through insightful discussions, hands-on activities, and professional sharing.

A huge thank you to our incredible speakers for sharing their expertise and inspiring us to reach greater heights in teaching and governance:

Ma'am Cleta B. Gonzales (Teacher VI) – for diving deep into Learner-Centered Teaching Approaches to make our classrooms more engaging and tailored to every child's needs.

Ma'am Ma. Sherylle B. Lanas (Teacher VI) – for equipping us with actionable Remediation Strategies for Struggling Learners to ensure that no child gets left behind.

Sir Rolly Joy "RJ" A. Barril (Administrative Officer II) – for guiding us through a comprehensive session covering the Philippine Basic Education System, crucial safety protocols on Contingency Planning for Active Attack Incidents, a hands-on workshop on Creating Evaluation Tools Using Google Drive & Google Forms, and important DepEd Policies on Application for Leave.

Sir Rosell B. Polis (School Principal IV) – for leading an insightful session on the Tarabay Abrenio Interface to align our instructional standards, sharing effective Pedagogies in Teaching Mathematics to boost numeracy and critical thinking, and providing valuable Technical Assistance on Instruction to continuously elevate our teaching practices.

The INSET provided teachers with valuable opportunities to learn, collaborate, reflect, and strengthen their professional practice—all for the continuous improvement of teaching and learning.

In view of the PAGASA Yellow Rainfall Warning issued at 5:00 AM today, face-to-face classes at ALL LEVELS are suspended today in Bangued, La Paz, Lagayan, Langiden, Peñarrubia, Pidigan, Pilar, San Isidro, San Quintin, Tayum, Villaviciosa, and Danglas.

To ensure continuity of learning, classes shall shift to Alternative Delivery Modes (ADM).
