As part of the Department of Education's commitment to ensuring quality instruction and continuous professional development of teachers, Sagap Elementary School welcomed Ma'am Marlyn Abaoag, EPS-AP, and Ma'am Analyn F. Atmosfera, Public School District Supervisor, for a school visit aimed at providing instructional supervision through classroom observation.

During the visit, the supervisors conducted classroom observations of Mrs. Elaine B. Baoit and the school's newly transferred teacher, Mrs. Gian Ronadel A. P**a. The observations focused on the effective delivery of instruction, classroom management, learner engagement, assessment practices, and the implementation of appropriate teaching strategies consistent with the MATATAG Curriculum and established teaching standards.

A post-observation conference was conducted to provide constructive feedback, technical assistance, and professional guidance. The supervisors acknowledged the teachers' strengths and dedication while offering recommendations to further enhance instructional practices and improve learner outcomes. The activity served as a valuable opportunity for reflective practice and continuous professional growth.

On July 6, 2026, Sagap Elementary School actively participated in the Simultaneous Flag Raising Ceremony in commemoration of the 10th Anniversary of the 2016 South China Sea Arbitral Award. The activity was conducted during the school's regular Monday flag raising ceremony led by Mr. Jerome D. Bisquerra with the participation of the school head, teaching personnel, non-teaching staff, and learners.

The activity aimed to promote patriotism, strengthen national awareness, and recognize the significance of the 2016 South China Sea Arbitral Award in upholding the country's sovereign rights and the rule of law. Through this meaningful observance, the school reaffirmed its commitment to instilling the values of nationalism, unity, and responsible citizenship among its learners.

Bilang pagsuporta sa Gulayan sa Paaralan Program ng Department of Education, matagumpay na isinagawa ang paghahanda ng lupa para sa itatayong gulayan ng paaralan.

Naging posible ang gawaing ito sa pamamagitan ng aktibong pakikilahok at pagtutulungan ng mga mag-aaral, mga magulang, at iba pang stakeholders. Ang kanilang suporta at dedikasyon ay nagpapakita ng diwa ng bayanihan at pagkakaisa sa pagtataguyod ng ligtas, masustansya, at luntiang kapaligiran para sa ating mga mag-aaral.

Maraming salamat sa lahat ng nakiisa at nagbigay ng kanilang oras at lakas para sa tagumpay ng programang ito!

Today, the nurses from the Schools Division of Abra conducted a vision screening for the Grade 1 learners and one Grade 6 learner of Sagap Elementary School.

The activity aimed to assess the learners' visual health and identify those who may need further eye examination and appropriate intervention.
The screening was successfully conducted with the full cooperation of the learners and classroom advisers. This initiative supports the Department of Education's commitment to ensuring the health and well-being of learners, enabling them to perform better in school.

Sagap Elementary School expresses its heartfelt gratitude to the nurses from the Schools Division of Abra for their dedicated service and commitment to promoting the health of our learners.
