Sagap Elementary School gratefully received another blessing today through the outreach program of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) Ilocos Sur/Abra Chapter, headed by 𝙈𝙖'𝙖𝙢 𝙉𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙫𝙞 𝙄. 𝙇𝙖𝙯𝙤, 𝘾𝙋𝘼. As part of their commitment to community service, the organization distributed school supplies and snacks to the school's 121 learners.

The learners were delighted to receive the gifts, which will greatly support their learning journey and daily school needs. The activity not only provided essential materials but also brought smiles and encouragement to the children.

Sagap Elementary School extends its heartfelt gratitude to the officers and members of PICPA Ilocos Sur/Abra Chapter and Ma'am Bless Maricar Ramos for their generosity and kindness. Your support and dedication to helping young learners are truly appreciated and will leave a lasting impact on our school community.

In celebration of Independence Day, the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) of Sagap Elementary School participated in the simultaneous nationwide community service activity. The registered BSP members, together with their Troop Leader, Mr. Jerome Bisquerra, ajctively rendered community service as part of the celebration, demonstrating their commitment to patriotism, volunteerism, and service to the community.

𝙎𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙥 𝙀𝙡𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙃𝙤𝙡𝙙𝙨 𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙋𝙏𝘼 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙡𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨' 𝙊𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣

On June 11, 2026, Sagap Elementary School successfully conducted its First General PTA Assembly and Parents’ Orientation despite no current in our community . The activity aimed to strengthen the partnership between the school and parents in promoting quality education and ensuring the welfare of all learners.

During the assembly, the following agenda were discussed:
-Presentation of the school's accomplishments for School Year 2025–2026, as well as the projects and programs reflected in the Annual Implementation Plan (AIP) for School Year 2026–2027.
-Discussion of the Three-Term School Calendar and the Revised Grading and Assessment System.
-Presentation of the School Canteen Funds.
-Discussion of the school's policies and guidelines.
Orientation on the Child Protection Policy to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for all learners.
-Awarding of Brigade Eskwela 2026 partners
-Election of the new set of General PTA (GPTA) Officers.

The activity provided an avenue for parents to be informed about the school's plans, policies, and programs while encouraging their active participation in supporting the school's goals and initiatives for the benefit of every learner.

Sagap Elementary School would like to extend its heartfelt gratitude to the Municipal Electricians for visiting our school to inspect and monitor the electrical materials provided by the LGU of Bangued, headed by Perfecto Cardenas. Your support and commitment to ensuring the proper installation and safety of these materials are greatly appreciated. Thank you for helping us create a safer and more conducive learning environment for our learners.

Conducted a Learning Action Cell (LAC) Session on DO 14, s. 2026, DO 15, s. 2026, and DO 16, s. 2026, including the Policy Guidelines on the Implementation of the Three-Term School Calendar in Basic Education. The session strengthened teachers' understanding of the latest policies and reinforced our commitment to quality education.

Sagap Elementary School extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Schools Division Office of Abra (SDO-Abra), headed by SDS Amador D. Garcia, Sr., together with the DepEd officials and Sir Jun Rifareal, for including our school as one of the beneficiaries of the DRRM CUCO Fund.

Through this generous support, the school was able to procure hard hats for our 121 learners, as well as First Aid Kits and a Spine Board to strengthen our disaster preparedness and emergency response capabilities.

Thank you for your unwavering commitment to ensuring the safety, protection, and well-being of our learners. Your support greatly contributes to creating a safer and more resilient learning environment for all.

Sagap Elementary School successfully opened classes for School Year 2025–2026, welcoming a total of 121 learners. Mrs. Rhoda P. Alcalde, OIC, warmly welcomed the learners and encouraged them to have a productive and meaningful school year.

The first-day activities began with a Flag Raising Ceremony, followed by a Zumba activity to promote health, fitness, and enthusiasm among the learners. An itroduction of the teaching and Non-teaching staff was also conducted to familiarize the learners with the school personnel who will guide and support them throughout the school year.

The successful conduct of these activities created a positive and welcoming atmosphere, marking a smooth and promising start to the new academic year.
