HAPPENING NOW: The Aklan State University joins the celebration of DOST's 2024 Regional Science, Technology and Innovation Week in Western Visayas, with the theme: Siyensya, Teknolohiya at Inobasyon: Kabalikat sa Matatag, Maginhawa at Panatag na Kinabukasan, at the University of Antique, Sibalom, Antique on August 22-24, 2024.

The RSTW exhibit features technologies, innovations in the blue and green economy, and smart solutions that is geared towards a more resilient and prosperous future.

The University presents its various science and technology innovations for the SEAWAVES project and Pinya Fiber Products at the S & T Exhibit at Paghi-UsA Hall, University of Antique, Sibalom, Antique.

ASU joins the RSTW 2024: For Science and for the People

The Aklan State University joins the celebration of DOST Regional Science and Technology Week 2024 at the University of Antique, Sibalom, Antique on August 22-24, 2024.

The University will present various science and technology innovations showcased at the S & T Exhibit at Paghi-UsA Hall, University of Antique, Sibalom, Antique on August 22-24, 2024, from 9:00 AM-5:00 PM.

Aklan State University represented by the Acting Vice President for Research and Extension, Prof. Julie Ann A. Salido, and Acting Research and Development Services Director, Dr. Melba L. Raga-as, attended a coordination meeting spearheaded by Kalibo Council on the Haboe Piña for a partnership to conduct a comprehensive profiling of piña weaving practices in the municipality, last July 31, 2024 at the Municipal Office of Kalibo.

Aklan piña handloom weaving is a cherished traditional craft that reflects the rich cultural heritage of the province of Aklan.

The CTI Engineering International Co., Ltd. in partnership with Aklan State University conducted its Public Consultation Meeting with the potentially affected persons (PAPs) in Barangay Mobo, Old Buswang, and Bakhaw Norte, Kalibo, Aklan for the priority project in Aklan River Basin, last June 27, 2024, at the respective Barangay Hall of the selected barangays.

The Aklan State University - Research and Development Services conducted its Mid-Year R&D In-house Review, today, June 27, 2024, at ASU Function Hall, Kalibo, Aklan.

A total of 16 research proposals were evaluated during the said event.
