Municipal Education Summit 2026

Power with Purpose: Bridging the Learning Gap

From Ideas to Action: Stakeholders Present Solutions for Learner Development

One of the highlights of the Municipal Education Summit 2026 was the meaningful Workshop Presentation, where education and community stakeholders came together to share insights, identify challenges, and propose practical solutions for the holistic development of learners.

Representatives from the PTA, Barangay Councils, Sangguniang Kabataan (SK), and Sangguniang Bayan (SB) actively participated in the workshop, recognizing that improving education is a shared responsibility that goes beyond the classroom.

The discussions centered on key areas that directly affect learnersโ€™ growth and success:

๐Ÿ“š Literacy Development โ€“ Strengthening reading skills, providing opportunities for reading practice, supporting struggling readers, and encouraging parents and the community to become active partners in developing learnersโ€™ literacy.

๐Ÿฅ— Health and Nutrition โ€“ Promoting proper nutrition, healthy habits, regular health monitoring, and programs that ensure learners are physically healthy and ready to learn.

โค๏ธ GMRC and Values Education โ€“ Strengthening good manners, respect, responsibility, discipline, empathy, integrity, and positive values among learners, with the home, school, and community working together as role models.

The workshop provided a platform for stakeholders to move beyond identifying problems and focus on concrete, community-based solutions. Through collaboration, shared commitment, and collective action, the participants emphasized the importance of creating an environment where every learner is supported academically, physically, socially, and morally.

The activity highlighted a powerful message: when the school, family, barangay, youth sector, local government, and community work together, meaningful change in education becomes possible.

โœจ Together, we nurture capable, healthy, responsible, and values-driven learners. Together, we bridge the learning gap.
